Hey guys. I'm having a issue. I recently went on new egg and got the needed parts to build myself a pc. I believe I have everything hooked up..i went and bought a $115 windows 10 usb from best buy..i went into the bios and selected the usb as my good device...however when I exit the bios it takes me to a windows boot manager where I have to select from 32 or 64 bit...i select 64 it goes to a loading files screen which eventually freezes, gives me a error and shut the computer down...any suggestions?

I don't have the details offhand but you need to make sure your bios is set to boot from a UEFI mode if that's what the USB is set as.

Not really sure how it works on a USB that has Windows pre installed. I know it's usually an issue if you create a bootable windows USB yourself after downloading it from Microsoft.

Sorry I'm not being very detailed, technically, but if you Google it you'll find some info. I have a feeling it's not too hard a fix.

That's okay, I appreciate the help. I think it may be a issue with my ram. On the windows boot manager screen there is a windows memory diagnostic test. It says it finds hardware problems

Turned out to be a bad windows usb everything is up and running after installing with another

At 10:30 this morning someone tried getting into my STEAM account per email from STEAM.
Said they had correct username AND PW.. damn.
STEAM Guard kept them out though.


Came home and changed PW etc.. for STEAM and my email.. just to be on safe side.

At 10:30 this morning someone tried getting into my STEAM account per email from STEAM.
Said they had correct username AND PW.. damn.
STEAM Guard kept them out though.


Came home and changed PW etc.. for STEAM and my email.. just to be on safe side.

Steamguard is the two factor authentication right?

Yup. It makes you enter a code that you get in your email if you try to log in from a new location.

That's definitely two-factor doing work.

So even after changing PW yesterday evening..
I get up this morning and there have been 15 login attempts (All from Bangkok according to IP ) since 12:05am.

Email says the same thing that email address and PW were correct etc..
So changed PW again this morning..
Last time I'll probably change PW as they can't get in without Guard code.

Same here...Something just doesn't seem right.

Still a steady flow of emails from STEAM (of course I never click on any links from those emails just in case- EXCEPT the ip link showing the location of who is trying to access account-SEE BELOW) ... every 5 minutes like clockwork.


My last PW is so out there IF they really do have it, STEAM has a severe security hole.

When it shows who is trying to get in account it also shows "Your" location.. and that location is not correct and is always changing.
A few times it said I was located in Arlington VA, others in Louisville etc...

Very strange....
Are there any actual people you can talk to from STEAM or not?

I would change your IP address and see if it still happens. I would also severely scan your PC in regular mode and safe mode to see if you have sort of backdoor trojan or something on your PC.
