AMD coming out swinging:
AMD unveils next-gen Radeon VII, launches February 7 for $699. The Radeon VII boasts 60 compute units and 3,840 stream processors running at up to 1.8GHz. It also has a generous frame buffer—16GB of high bandwidth memory (HBM2) delivering 1TB/s of memory bandwidth.
According to them, it is on par with the RTX 2080.Comment

Is anyone having issues with image thumbnails not loading on any Steam Community pages?
For me, image thumbnails are not loading, but GIF thumbnails are. When I click on the images, they load fine even though the thumbnail is still broken. I'm seeing this problem on all Steam Community pages (Community home, Workshops, etc.). Wondering if anyone else is seeing the same thing or something is going on with my network settings.Comment

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
Anyone have Corsair products and use iCue? Recently my K95 keyboard has not been showing up as a connected device under iCue. I can use the keyboard normally for the most part, I've just lost the ability to use the media keys and the G-keys or set up any RGB profiles anymore. I've uninstalled and reinstalled iCue. I've removed the keyboard, reinstalled it, and updated the drivers. I've done both of those things in different orders, reset the computer, etc. You name it, I've tried it with regards to those things. I've even unplugged the keyboard and plugged it back in while holding the Escape key to hard reset the keyboard. No luck still. It did change the lighting of the keyboard back to the Witcher 3 profile I had long ago, but it still won't show up in iCue.
The computer is recognizing it as a K95 keyboard, it is just iCue not recognizing it.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
Well, look at that. I've been struggling to fix this all week and right after making a post I fixed it. The keyboard has a BIOS slider on top of it that goes 1, 2, 3, 4, 8. For whatever reason it was no longer working on 8. I slid it to 4 and it worked. It doesn't work on 1, 2, or 3 either. I had honestly forgotten that slider/switch existed because I had not needed to touch it since I bought this thing 3 or 4 years ago.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
Not only will it be my first 60% board but it will be my first time going away from full size.
The big selling points for me were...
- The small form factor will make gaming much MUCH more comfortable. Full size gaming boards like the K70 I use force your WASD & mouse hand to be so far apart. They don't offer the best ergonomics because of their width and I was tired of hitting the side of my numpad even with a GIANT G640 mouse pad. This should make the gaming experience better (numpad seldom used lol).
- Entire board (every key) being macro-able, w/ multi-profiles to set. So I won't lose my precious media controls & any other function I can dream up, I can macro with-in easy reach. A huge plus to me, losing all the extra BS of arrow keys, insert, home, F keys, etc. while still retaining all their function.
- N-key roll over is naturally important, (1000hz polling) so all those gaming key presses get registered properly.
- Detachable cable, much easier to travel with & I can swap to a higher quality cable.
All in all my biggest reason was desk real-estate. I wanted something easier to game on, not lose my media keys, while cleaning up the look of my battle station.
I'm also ordering a nice wood wrist rest this week to really seal the deal.
Compact in Onyx
Our Wood Gaming Keyboard Wrist Rests are crafted from the finest American-grade heartwood. Multiple sizes and colors for Full-Size & Tenkeyless boards. Provides amazing ergonomic support & comfort, that can help protect your wrists during long, intense PC gaming sessions.Attached FilesComment
