I never bothered to do custom audio in any sports game last gen. It was bad enough I had to spend a lot of time getting ratings and sliders right. So bravo to all the guys who were doing all 3 things.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Plasmas will always look better than LCDs, but it also depends on the brand. You won't get inkier blacks than a plasma. Unfortunately the latest best plasmas were from panasonic and they no longer make them. I use to have LCDs, but after trying plasma I'll never go back. Also, getting your tv calibrated will give you the best picture.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I used to play my PS3 on my 51" Sammy Plasma that I have in my guest room and I absolutely loved it. Dont have to worry about burn-in either. I only use plasmas now, because I just think they look much better than LCDs or LEDs.Comment

Definitely interested in the flamingtoast decals. So if I order one set of two can I get one logo and one text? Sorry, just a little confused.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Get a plasma, trust me. I tried a 65" Vizio LED just last month for my gameroom and was not happy with it. I traded it in for a 64" plasma and I'm 100% satisfied. In my house I have 3 plasmas now because I think they look the best. I tried the LED because I wanted the cheaper option, but it showed in quality.

Okay, wtf is this nonsense? I just now updated my system software to the latest one and now I can't play NBA 2K14 (digital download) because I'm apparently not the user who has the license for it.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Go into your PS4 settings, I think under PSN, and there's an option to restore licenses. That should fix it.Comment

For instance she has a horrible bad habit of pausing the DVR getting on phone, hell even leaving the house and the damn TV is stuck on pause for 45 min or however long it takes the DVR to shutdown from the idle timer. Because of this I've refrained from getting a plasma, I know they have a better picture. Now, I also know I could just try and talk to her to be more aware of not leaving the TV on pause, but figured it was easier to not deal with it and just go LED.
Reason I'm asking, we are going to be in the market for a 65-70" TV in the next couple months for the living room. Trying to decide which route should I go.
P.S. Isn't plasma dying off?Comment
