Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I really thought that the last WWE was a lot of fun. I look forward to seeing what 2K can do from a graphics and presentation standpoint on these next gen consoles.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I haven't enjoyed a WWE game since Smackdown vs Raw 2007 so I hope 2K builds a new engine and does something similar to their next gen NBA game (without VC) and implements a career mode similar to MyPlayer which would suit well for a WWE game.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Don't know if anyone remembers Slightly Mad Studios boasting about their racing game "Project CARS - The Ultimate Driver Journey" but it's definitely beautiful. Due to release in November 2014. Also, what you're watching is in game footage. This looks amazing!
Slightly Mad releases impressive new trailer for Project Cars, coming this November to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Steam OS, and Wii U.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
In what has been a ritual for PS+ users....Watching what monthly releases will happen. I believe this is for the EU PS.http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2014/...ay-2-muramasa/
<b><big>Coming to PS Plus in May: Puppeteer, Payday 2, Muramasa, more</b></big>
<b>New for PlayStation 4</b>
First up on PS4 comes Stick it to the Man, a weird and wonderful title from the very talented development team at Zoink!
<iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/JmPae_q66Rw?feature=player_detailpage" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
<b>First up on PS3 this May</b> an eccentric title from our very own Japan Studio. Puppeteer delivers a magical fairy tale experience with a sinister backdrop all played out in a theatrical world where the environment is constantly changing.
<iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/SYf4jTVDTi4?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Next up, it’s time to descend on Washington DC for a crime spree of epic proportions in the second installment of the thrilling heist shooter Payday. Payday 2‘s new crimenet network offers a huge range of dynamic contracts and you are free to choose anything from small-time convenience store hits or kidnappings, to major league cyber-crime or emptying out major bank vaults.
<iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/Z2nOrgleqXQ?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
<b>New for PS Vita:</b>
Muramasa Rebirth is your first offering this month on PS Vita. It’s faithful port of Vanillaware’s classic side-scrolling action-RPG, one that absolutely shines on the OLED screen. Immersive, stylish, and full of action, Muramasa Rebirth’s twin campaigns, multiple endings, hidden Demon Swords, massive exploration and other optional goodies should be enough to keep you busy for a good long while.
<iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/fLrhfbJpp3o?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Finally, it’s time to take to the fairways in our very own Everybody’s Golf. This title makes full use of the rear touch pad functionality and the intuitive touchscreen controls allowing you to plot your way around the course and achieve that low score whilst having a lot of fun at the same time!

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
With each release I find I'm caring less and less about all the indie stuff coming to either console.
Spiffy big blog of stuff, but only 1 video applicable to this thread and it's another strange indie title. Sure there will be a gem in there sometime, but I just don't care anymore.Comment

A lot of the games are somewhat overrated as well, from what I've seen. Just my opinion though, and I like that the indie games exist. Just very rarely find myself purchasing them.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
It's gonna be weird for me as well lol.
And if those games aren't as fun to me as BF4, then you'll STILL be seeing me only on BF4.
We'll see what happens, but I'll be getting both of those games for sure.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
All the "arcade" games I've bought have all been worth it.
Personally, the machine of the AAA games gets old to me and a lot of them just kind of blend together.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I think (not pointing fingers at anyone in particular here, more at everyone - myself included) the thing I've learned over the past few years is that gamers are never happy unless they're complaining.
We used to have more than a few sayings in the infantry that were somewhat like this. "If it ain't rainin', it ain't trainin'" "The only happy grunt is a bitching grunt." Stuff like that. Turns out, it applies to gamers too.
Take this thread - we now have "complaining" (and I use that term lightly) about indie games being focused. Now go to the inFAMOUS thread. We have bitching about that game in there plenty over the past few pages.
We complain about games being "too basic" (mgo's words, not mine.) We complain about games losing their focus and trying to do too much. We complain about resolution of games (which is a legit complaint, it just shouldn't be at the forefront of an argument.) We complain about multi-player games not having single-player campaigns/modes and vice-versa.
At the end of the day, I guess we're all happy as long as we have a variety of things to complain about. The day that every gamer has the same complaint is the day that gaming as we know it is dead. I feel like with the budgets ballooning of these games (and multiple studies done about price points showing that we're at our high point for them already) that the gaming bubble may burst in the coming future. We are already seeing some ill-effects of this, and the indie games are basically the ones carrying us through.
Compare the "A" and "AA" quality games we had up through the PSX/PS2-era. If you compare that to what we get today from those same sectors... it's basically fallen off a cliff. Which is sad. This is where the indies are picking up some of the slack.
Anyways, rant done withbadComment

I do like all the free indie games we end up getting from PSN/XBL, so that's a solid benefit....Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment
