They've hardly even touched WWII. They made a lot of games up to 2008, but really, they were all kind of the same locations.

They forgot that WWII spanned continents, not just France, Germany, and Japan. What about Africa?

I guess I'm just a sucker for WWII. They had some of the best weapons during that time period and I think it'd be awesome to get a next-gen Battlefield-esque multiplayer experience out of it, too.

Actually COD2 (I think) had the battles of El Alamein, but I agree there's a lot of untold stories and locations games have not visited in WWII yet.

Have you heard of the game Enemy Front? Not exactly a battlefield game but it's a new WWII shooter.

Blame Medal of Honor and Call of Duty for the over-exposure of WWII shooters.

That being said, I want one on my PS4 within the next two years.

I'm tired of the all fps's to be honest,I know that goes against what gamers want these days,I guess I'm just to the point of "fps overload"...lol.

THIS is what I would love to see....an awesome 3rd person survival horror game starring....

Really nice guy, but I think we need those strategic shooters to be more of a major player again. The real Ghost Recons and Rainbow Six games are sorely missing.

Even with that, the genre just needs an overhaul..its all stale to be honest.

You think so? I didn't like 2142. I played it on a few different occasions but it wasn't really my forte. I'm not into futuristic shooters.

Lol....that **** would make me scream and curl up in a ball. I don't like to get stressed out from scary movies or games.

Red Orchestra 2 proves that WWII FPS games can still be excellent. Would love to see one with a fresh coat of next-gen paint.

I normally dislike them as well (didn't enjoy the Titanfall PC beta at all really, Halo [outside of the Halo 1 single-player/multi-player story]) but I had a blast playing 2142. Something about that one just jived with me and I loved it. Very odd for me.

I wish games would go back to (or use) the Counter-Strike style more. Rounds, with 1 death per round per person with objectives. It's a shame CS:GO doesn't hold a candle to the 1.3 days (even 1.6 if I'm being honest.)

Couple of guys on my friends list seems to always be on music player demo. They haven't touched anything else this whole weekend. Recent activities is just music player demo. The hell is it? Spotify or something?

I'm still waiting for a great console FPS set in Vietnam. With the ability to do more dense foliage, smoke effects, and other next gen graphics effects, I'm waiting for someone to tackle Vietnam again. The variety involved could be insane between infantry on foot, helicopter missions, stealth sneaking through villages and other locales, etc. I won't hold my breath though.
