It just depends on the game for me . Mortal Kombat X I'm going digital I play that game forever. Last of us I'm going Disc to trade it in after I'm done.

But I only buy 4 games a year and keep them a lot longer than a month lol

If a game is $60 DD and offers months of entertainment, no matter if you can't trade it in it still isn't a waste considering the months of entertainment it provided. And, I wouldn't personally go all DD on games I'm not too sure about.

Prior to this generation I never traded in a game. Even then I've only traded in Ghosts and titanfall. I wouldn't have an issue with going digital if the digital games were marked down with the physical versions. There are only a few games that I buy on day one.

No way I am going digital unless they were marked down some.

              Yeah, I agree.

I regret going DD on UFC, but I see myself doing it on a game like Destiny that I know I am going to play for quite a while. Just depends on the game.

For me, that's definitely not true. If it was, I wouldnt rebuy any game at all. Once im finished with the game and I know that I wont be playing it again, why wouldnt I trade it in? Watch Dogs was good and I put in over 50 hours into the game. Had fun and enjoyed the game for what it was. If I didnt, I wouldnt have put over 50 hours into the game. Trade value wise, I dont worry about it because the majority of new released $60 games hover around $40 for at least two months or so. I'm a single player gamer and I dont play online so once im done with a game, it's time for it to go.

I used to collect games when I was younger which is funny because I play and finish more games now than I did back then. I missed out on a lot of great games because I was always playing the same few games repeatedly which is why I stopped doing that with the 360/PS3 era. For those who are going to play online for months, like COD, BF, etc. I can understand buying the game via digital download but for someone like me, that would be a huge waste of money and since im not rich nor am I a hardcore gamer, I just dont see the point.

In the end, to each his/her own.

If you enjoy playing games on or around the release date there's certainly more risk. As I've posted before infamous scared me away from digital for a bit so I've got The Show and Watch Dogs in retail form. UFC I grabbed digitally because I know I'll be tinkering with the career mode off and on for the next several months. Madden, Destiny and Diablo of I decide to get it will be sure-fire digital purchases too.

I do. On days off, I can play 8-12 hours easy. The thing though is that the longer I wait to play and finish games, the more likely it is that I wont.

The PS4 game recording is killing me. I was playing the the show and hit a walk off homerun in the bottom of the ninth. Go to save the clip and of course it didn't record it.

I find if I hit the share button as soon as I start up the game but don't save the clip it gets things going so later on when I do want to save a clip it will be there.

I just broadcast my games to Twitch or just turn on my El Gato. That way I know the clip will be there. PS4 use to be more reliable prior to the last 2 updates. Now it is hit or miss.

I don't trade in games as much as I used too. Heck the last time I traded a game in was back in October of 2013. All my games are physical aside from Battlefield 4 which I bought digital due to the PSN Store Credit that came with my PS4 and the digital only indie games. All the rest of the games I have are physical.

I prefer physical because simply I like have the actual game box sitting on my shelf. Guess I'm old school like that.
