Yes, color range is all you need to set on the PS4, monitor should default to full (if your monitor can even do limited), TV may need to be set to full.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Ok so I set RGB range to full, I left the other range and other two settings at automatic.
My monitor had RGB set to 16-235 or whatever it was, I changed it to 0-255
That all sounds right?
I've definitely noticed a little difference. Seems a little more "vibrant" for lack of a better word"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
What do you guy's prefer for your internet connection wired or wi-fi? I have a ethernet connection but was considering going wi-fi as my rogers modem has it. Plus maybe getting an iphone soon as well which is wi-fi. Is it possible to have both enabled & use what you want? Thanks."If you don't have anything good to say, say it often"- Ed the sockComment

Thanks for the heads up burns
After making the change and adjusting my brightness and contrast a few clicks everything is looking noticeably better. It looked great before so I'm in heaven now."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Gonna cross post this in the Android forum as well...
PS4 Remote Play available on all Android 4+ devices.
Hey guys, After the Z3 was announced in IFA 2014 in Berlin. I noticed there was no major change other than the new PS4 Remote Play feature. The feature that allows you to use your Xperia Device as a Second Screen for the PlayStation 4 anytime and...
As expected, someone on XDA has ported Remote Play functionality from Xperia Z3 line to other android phones. Procedure for installing is short, and will be easy for everyone who has ever installed custom rom before [installing of small patch via CRM, deleting caches, installing of app]. Setting up Dualshock compatibility for all phones requires installation of one additional app. RP on android DEMANDS presence of gamepad.
Notice for those who always apppear and are suprised: YES, remote play works great both at home and over the internet [if your home router is not having problems with few ports]. You can play your PS4 games from 1km, 10km, few hundred km away, and even from around the world. Lag is small, acceptable for many games [LTE hotstpots are usable but introduce more lag], and many gaffers use this type of of RP on daily basis to play PS4 games while on workbadComment

That's awesome! I can expand my phone selection to all Android devices when considering my next purchase. I was strongly interested in the Xperia Z3 because of remote play, but with no firm release date out there yet, might be time to consider other options.Ryan Spencer

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Is there much difference playing PS4 games on a 1080p hdtv with 120hz vs the same specs but at 60hz?

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
There probably is, but depends on the person and the set how much of a difference is noticeable. For example I often forget our TV is on game mode whenever I use it, but wife walks in and it drives her crazy. It's an obvious brightening effect that doesn't really bother me.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Anybody using a custom profile with their Gold headsets ? I created one but just turned everything up as I just didnt think it would make that big of a difference but wouldn't be shocked if I'm dead wrong. With only 3 options to adjust, just doesn't seem like Theres too much customizing you really could do.It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.Comment
