I haven't been able to connect since Wednesday. Using the DNS settings worked for me as well.

I know nothing about DNS settings. Will it case any other issues or will I need to go back to default or anything?

Those are googles DNS servers. You'll be fine. Some people change their DNS servers to get better service. A while ago Comcast had awful DNS servers. They'd go down a lot. I switched mine out and haven't looked back since.

DNS servers basically take a domain name and turn it into an IP address.

Just make sure you're using a reliable and reputable DNS server. Don't just change your settings to any random DNS server.

I've been waiting for my buddy to finish TLOU but he's taking his sweet *** time. I'm torn between waiting and just picking it up, especially with Destiny coming out in a few weeks.

I guess with NHL scrapped I should just grab it

After reading and reading and more reading. I manually setup the connection.

and this did the trick.

I have no idea why but it worked.

I was just on live chat with PSN.....got my PS4 today and can't sign in to PSN. I was going nuts. Well they gave me the DNS codes you used and then another set.....they are having server side issues as we speak. They said wait 1-2 hours and try again.

Great first impression.

Wow what a massive buzz kill. Still cant sign on to PSN on the PS4. Works fine on PS3.

Going to bed will try again tomorrow. They have some serious server side issues.

PS3 psn and PS4 psn are different without a doubt. Problems on one rarely crop on the other. I haven't had any issue logging on psn the last couple days from either though. Wonder if it's regional.

It's been a week since I posted about ordering the Gold headset from newegg. It's my first experience with newegg as well, but it hasn't been a positive one. They haven't even shipped my order yet despite charging my card on 8/11. Definitely would have just ordered off Amazon for $80 with prime shipping if I knew it was going to take quite a few business days for the package to even ship. UPS tracking gives me basically the same information, just order has been processed.

ODogg, have you received your order yet?

I have contacted Newegg, but they said it would take 3-5 more business days to confirm whether or not they have shipped the product. I really just want to be refunded at this point, but they won't issue a refund until at least 3-5 more business days which is basically going to be next Monday..

I'm confused as that screen grab says it's been shipped and was shipped on 8/11, states it's in transit down below as well. Maybe it's not a service that's updated constantly until it gets to it's arrival point perhaps? It looks like it even has a tracking number. Lastly, where it says "Billing Information Received" that just means UPS has the info for shipping, and if it doesn't give a step by step update maybe it's on it's way to you. Everything on that screen grab points to it having shipped though.

EDIT - UPS Surepost is the slowest service they offer and once it reaches it's destination city it gets handed off to the USPS and delivered like regular mail. Unless the info they provide in that screen grab is completely incorrect I'd say it's shipped already but because of the service they used it's just taking awhile to get to you.
