Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
My physical collection:
Soccer games: 7
Football games: 4
Basketball games: 1
Baseball games: 1
Racing games: 5
Action/Action Platformer: 26
Action-RPG: 7
RPG/SRPG/DeusEx: 9
Fighting: 2
FPS: 1
Music: 1
(i don't know in which category i would put Pilotwings Resort, so I'll list it separately)
As for digital, its hard for me to list it here by category right now. My 360 is unplugged, i don't remember correctly how many games i have on steam, and i don't know if i should count the games "given" by PS+ with the games i bought on PSN between PS3 and PS4, and i may have around 7 digital ganes on the 3DS.Last edited by razorkaos; 04-11-2016, 09:01 PM.PSN ID/Street Fighter V Fighter ID: razorkaosComment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I can see me doing the same thing with my video game collection. I'm not there yet when it comes to retro games, but I have kept the PS4 collection to a minimum of games I'm currently playing. The fact that I haven't bought an Xbox One yet this generation is a definite sign of progress.Currently Playing:
MLB The Show 25 (PS5)Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I did this recently with my book collection. I felt like I was keeping books I'd read just to prove that, in fact, I had read the book, when I had no intention of reading the book again. Now, I'm down to books I haven't read yet and a select few that I will read again, or hold sentimental value to me.

I had to hear some of those things quite a few times before it clicked. I could hold my physical games in the cases in one hand.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Is the bottom right image possible in the show? Lighting comparable but seemed just off comparing the top two at a glance in my PC, it was the crowd that made it really obvious which was which IMO.

I think people are over analyzing it - it clearly was an exaggeration to emphasize the good visuals.Comment

Spoiler
I do wish we were farther along in terms of console power, though. I'm still impressed by the likes of some games that are nearly fifteen years old, now.
Here is World Series Baseball 2K3:

Here is All Star Baseball 2002:

Textures and resolution may have come a long way, but even the games of yore have produced good models, lighting, fidelity, and seamless animations/motion that I still wish we have come just a little bit farther these days.
It seems we are around the pinnacle for this console generation, already. Not just for The Show or all other sports games, but all games in general. We're getting good, but they still do just seem like video games to me.
Maybe that's just as much an artist limitation as it is a console limitation, though.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
