Do what slab suggested and renew your licenses then post your exact error message if you get one.

^ That. And if it still doesn't work call Sony. The only titles you lose access to if you let PS Plus expire are the ones you downloaded for free. Purchased content is always available no matter what.

Yes you can as far as I know, I believe that's what Burns uses.

You can't control it with your phone, but you can go into the USB music player without getting out of the game, you can hold the PS button to bring up skip song, pause, and volume.

Spotify I found the "play random songs related to this/these" to be awful, repeating unrelated songs. I could add a bunch of music, but that would take forever. If Spotify had better radio stations or collecting music into lists was easier I would have kept it, controlling it with a device was nice, but not worth the giant PITA getting music to listen to together.

I just do all stuff in my computer (for Spotify), super easy and carries over account wide to my ps4 app and iPad app.

Either way, Spotify, USB drive, all the same, I can't imagine not having my own music at my disposal while gaming anymore. I've got my own soundtrack for every game I play. Made my ps4 sessions so much more enjoyable

With No Mans Sky I'm just gonna have music playing and get lost for hours and hours on end

I finally figured out how to use music while gaming on the Xbox One: Astro A50 auxiliary in, hooked up to my iPad and Spotify streams. It's a roundabout way of doing it but at least I am no longer at MS' mercy to add that feature...

Getting annoyed. Just installed update 3.50 and now it auto ejected Shadow of Mordor THREE straight times. Never happened to me once since opening release, actually I've never had a problem at all.. What the hell should I do now?

Can anyone help? This is concerning to me and Google didn't really help. Not really trying to buy a brand new system right now...

Not sure if you tried this yet but did you try booting into safe mode and rebuilding the database? Sometimes that does the trick. Not sure though as I do not have that issue at the moment.

Spotify integration was a major selling point for me. The actual PS4 Spotify app sucks, so controlling from your phone/iPad/etc is key.

Tried the remote play on my Macbook Pro (2011 model) and when it wouldn't crash it was a laggy mess. I tried both NBA 2k16 (crashed in menu) and PES 2016, and my laptop was sitting less than 5ft away from the PS4 & router.

Had high hopes for this but oh well

I swear, I learn so much just reading thru this thread.

I am nowhere near tech savvy but reading through this thread, I'm learning all kinds of things that my PS4 can do that I would've never imagined when I bought it, or at least never would've attempted to use because I didn't know how.

That's because for whatever reason, they just took remote play and added PC support - your ps4 sends the signal over the Internet first, then back home. Why they don't offer a LAN option, I don't know. If you read the requirements, it mentions internet upload and download speed, not LAN or WiFi speed.

Dumb decision to not make it lan compatible as well. You need to take a speed test of your internet, and see if you meet the requirements. Other factors are people using the internet while you're on it, so it might work best early in the morning or late at night.

All my microphones (iphone and bose) stopped working after this update. I can hear people in chat, but the mic doesn't pic anything up. It is weird because they worked last week before the update

Any idea why? Or how to fix the issue?

I used to play while listening to music when i was younger. Now, after years playing music and games, and learning how to appreciate games and their music at another level (for example, how the music integrates with the gameplay or atmosphere), I just can't play without listening to the game's musics.



The only exception are sports games (racing games included) and fighting games. I normally play them while listening to gaming podcasts and some music.

I just did this... Fingers crossed. However, if this isn't the end all be all for my problem, is there anyone out there who had this problem and now no longer do? It didn't occur for me until last night after I downloaded software update 3.50 and I've had same system since day one release.
