That is ridiculous, and I would not stand for that.

I thought you could deactivate all systems from the website, though. Surely after three months, you can use that option now?

I have called their support, I've gone back to the live chat. They are driving me up a wall. I raised the question to a rep that if they had also purchased $100 worth of content while logged into my account, would they help me then? They stated my account would be banned and I would need to contact my bank. Until the issue was resolved, my account would remain banned.

I honestly was at a loss for words.

It's unbelievable that they don't have two factor authentication yet.

There's really no excuse for your situation. They have to fix their support. Good luck though.

This is not the first time i see this kind of thing. On playstation forums, I've seen 3 or 4 other cases (exactly) like that.

Sony does have some awful customer support, it's nothing new.

Good luck, canes. I hope you're not forced into some legal battle with Sony to have back what is yours.

No, nothing will go that far. It's just crazy that they apparently can't deactivate all consoles tied to my account. Also Blzr, you can only do it every 6 months, so if this doesn't get fixed then I have to wait until January to be able to deactivate whoever's console is my primary.

Thankfully they never actually bought anything using my account, but the whole thing is still just ridiculous.

Point still stands that having to buy an accessory to charge a controller in the year 2015 is lame.

What battery operated technology doesn't need charging, it's not Sony's fault that you either play longer then 8 hours at a time or forget to periodically charge your controller, you don't need to buy an accessory it comes with the cable to charge it as you know already I'm sure

                    Relax.

                    We were discussing XB1 controllers.

I like having the choice of batteries or the charge kit. Not having that choice would be "lame" imo.

I should know better than to ask, and this is already off-topic for this thread, but I have to know. What makes buying either AA batteries or a charge kit a more attractive option than a console coming with a charger already?

I don't want to get stuck playing with a wired controller if mine dies mid play session. Play and charge kit is fairly cheap so are batteries especially if you get rechargeable ones.

                            Fair enough.

I'm one of the very few gamers that dislike wireless controllers. Always feels like the response time is off when playing games so I always keep the USB charging cable connected when playing. Luckily for me I can avoid charging kits, batteries, etc.

And for those who own both PS4 and Xbox One, the PS4 USB charging cable works with the Xbox One controller so if you need to charge it, you can do so by using the PS4 USB charging cable.
