Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Apart from The Witcher 3 I've played my PS3 a lot more this year. I finally went through Yakuza, the Metal Gear Solid Legacy set, replayed the Batman games, and random stints with LA Noire, Legos, and Brutal Legend. Not to mention all the PSN games I downloaded.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Why would you play a PS3 when you have a PS4 which is superior in every way to a PS3? I know folks do but I just don't get it. I'm not going backwards in graphics and sound voluntarily. No way!

The only reason I can think is to maybe play old games that aren't on next gen?Comment

He wants to? Nothing wrong with gaming on whatever console/handheld makes you happy. I've been on a 360, PS2 and GBA kick lately. Still play my PS4, but I still enjoy revisiting the older systems.Currently Playing:

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I had around 20 or so games in my Xbox 360/PS3 backlog when I traded both of them in. I knew I wasn't going to catch up so I said screw it, time to move on. While both PS4 and Xbox One are lacking overall, both are easily better two years in compared to Xbox 360 and PS3 were two years in.
For me, it was just time to get current and move on from the seventh generation simply because I knew I was never going to catch up to my backlog and figured that I would much rather minimize my backlog during the eighth generation as opposed to trying to catch up with the last generation which at the same time would just give me a backlog to the current generation.
I do miss my Xbox 360 and to a lesser extent, my PS3 but not enough to ever buy either again. With that said, I wish some games that were console exclusives like Splinter Cell Conviction (Xbox 360), Dragon's Crown (PS3) and 3D Dot Game Heroes (PS3) would get the re-mastered treatment to Xbox One and PS4 respectively. Multi-platform wise, I wish WB would re-master the entire Batman trilogy for Xbox One/PS4. Oh well.
With that all said, I'll stay with my PS4 and Xbox One simply because there's games that I want to play that won't ever be available (or as good) for last gen consoles.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Newer/Better system does not equal better games and experience.
ie..better graphics does NOT trump better gameplay.
Reason I still have a Gamecube and PS2 at the ready and a 360 in daughters room if I need it lolJoshua:
