With the onslaught of games coming this month, many maybe purchasing/preordering $100 in games. If so, Sony is offering a $15 credit which began yesterday.

In North America, Sony is offering $15 credit when you spend $100 in the PlayStation Store.

The deal starts today and applies to funds users have stored within their SEN Wallet.

<b>The credit also applies to games purchased for PlayStation 3, PS4 and Vita as well as pre-orders for upcoming titles</b>

Sony said a $15 credit voucher will be send out on or before November 7 via email, through a XMB message on PS3, or through system notification on PS4/PS Vita. Redemption codes must be redeemed by 11:59PM PST on December 5.

The deal runs through October 28.

Time out. Am I understanding this correctly. In the first video that guy is using an external 6TB hard drive with his PS4?

Yep, he is using a 6TB hard drive with his PS4. He is using a SATA wire connection between a 6TB hard drive and his PS4. Pretty cool stuff. Something that I might consider (using one of the many 3TB WD Mybooks that I already have, however I don't see a SATA connection on the Mybook, might need to pry the case open, or not... or find an external harddrive with an available SATA connection) rather than going with an internal 2TB hard drive. But already have a Best Buy instore pickup for the Seagate 2TB hard drive that I might simply do.

I have been injoying sleepy hollow and I started watch the new gathom show. I don't know what to think about that one. I like Americans got talent but man this year sucked not much talent at all compared to other years. I still watch stuff like full house. Shows like full house, fresh price, home imporvment are so much better then todays. 90's had so many good sitcoms.


You are really missing out on batman and with the way the hard drive fills up on ps4 has ever game has to be installed it probly only takes 10-12 games for the hard drive to fell up and that is with out DLC. On ps4 I have like 40 games or something like that not countying different years of sports games and I like to go back and play games I haven't played for a while some times so I don't want to have to delect any thing. I have only looked at hard drives that are in the system not external hard drives so I didn't know how much those would cost. I thought external hard drives didn't even work with ps4. I have seen 2TB hard drives for around 75-100 but I didn't know if external would be more or how that would work.


While I am not going to get an Xbox 1 I hate mircosft they don't make even one single game I care for ever and I think wii u is a great second system this gen behind ps4. I was wondering how much it would cost for that 3tb, 4tb, 5tb type thing in the video? Yeah 2TB is the biggest hard drive I have seen to that is not external but maybe in a year or so when I need a bigger hard drive they will have a 3TB hard drive that works with ps4. I don't think I would need a 4TB but you never know lol

This is why I've got plenty of the 3TB WD Mybooks lying around, just to DVR possibly interesting shows and new shows that I may or may not watch. Some of it depends on whether the TV stations will cancel the shows immediately because all they care about are ratings, even if millions of people already watch. TGIF (Thank God It's Friday) were great times, classic tv shows, family matters, full house, etc.

With regards to blockbuster games that a lot of people enjoy, I'll tell you one thing, I do like watching the trailers for those games, but that's pretty much it. Honestly, I did try out the first Batman game on my buddy's PS3 including God of War, Metal Gear Solid, etc. but they all were simply not that appealing. The trailers are great, but when it comes to actually playing these types of games, it's easier for me to pass and get lost in a sports' video game.

4TB are pretty common nowadays running at somewhere between $130 sale price to $200 dollars MRSP. 5TB and 6Tb and we're going above $200 dollars MRSP. From what I have read, if you want to stick with an external harddrive, you're going to need to get a SATA cable (male to female, I think).

With regards to the Wii, not getting it (and I mentioned this to their customer service line) because of motion control. Secondly their gamepad is large (and apparently you can't have two gamepads plugged in simultaneously) and bulky, drains batteries quickly. Still love Mario, Zelda though.

Doesn't void your warranty to switch out HDD.... it's pretty simple.
There's a video posted in this thread with the instructions. On phone right now or I'd get it for you.

Sounds good to me, I'll take the $15. I planned on getting NBA 2K15 and DriveClub digitally anyway. I'll probably spend that money on FUT packs and VC, lol.

I'm the same as you when it comes to fiddling with anything electronic internally. This is why I had someone else build me a PC instead of me messing with internal components. Still watching youtube video to get familiar with everyone's upgrade process.

External Harddrive Installation
For the external harddrive process, it'll be more research from my end to see how things are done.

One video that I found that installs an external harddrive but doesn't exactly show the attachment process is the following video. He does show which SATA cable, harddrive and enclosure he uses though ... so that's a step.

The only thing holding me against it is I already have Destiny purchased digitally on my PSN account.

Oh ok yeah I didn't know about the price for those. 4tb 130-200 is still a lot but I am sure they will get cheaper at some point. While batman game has ever thing story, music, game play, gracphics everything. Yeah I am not be into motion controls and my wii when I was almost at the end of skyward sword started to wig out on me. I would be trying to movie up and all of a sudden link would start to run a differnet way like I was trying to move him even though I wasn't. Got very annoying. I bought a new wii control and it didn't do it has much but it still dose that some times so it might be the wii motion bar thing having issues to. I like the game bad on the wii u but it dose lose power to quikley like 5 hours of play time. PS4 gets like 8 on its controller witch is a lot less then ps3 but you can charge the control on stand by mode so I don't think it is that much of a issue where with wii u you have to have a wall to plug the control into to charge. Also Nintendo still makes some of my favorite games. Zelda favorite video game franchise ever and the newest dokey kong is great and has one of the best soundtracks I have heard in a long time.

I wish I could get this with the disk. I am going to get both of those games to and I would like the 15 but I prefer disk for ever thing has I have a bad interent and if the system breaks you then have to redownload the games.
