Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Wasn't there a game Burnout or something that had a pretty epic crash mode? It wasn't the same as Demolition Derby, but that was pretty fun.

PlayStation 4 Discussion
My wife's nephew came in town and wanted to play a game last weekend. Out of all my games he chose XCOM. He had never played before. He loved it and I fell in love all over again. So much so that I ordered a used copy of Enemy Within (which I haven't played) from GameFly. Can't wait for it to arrive.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
On my Recent Activity list, it always shows me and whoever else as having played X game "10 times." So if I play The Show, it says "LowerWolf played The Show 10 times", even though I only played it once. Is it like this for everyone else? I don't remember it being this way, though it's been like this for a while now.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Destruction Derby was developed by Reflections and published by Psygnosis. I remember playing that and Twisted Metal when I had PlayStation back then. Of course, the first game was Resident Evil.
As for the golden age of gaming, for me, I don't think any generation will surpass SNES and Genesis.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
There once was a game that was on the Xbox 360. It was a great game, however Sega shut down the servers on January 6, 2010. To this day I miss that game. I had thousands of hours logged. It was in my opinion one of the best online shooters ever made. That game was Chromehounds and I'd love to see a new version made for the PS4.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Talk of older games got me to venture into Playstation Now and see what deals/ changes are being offered since July beta. There's still many high prices on games but I did notice that some publishers have dropped their prices a dollar from $2.99 to $1.99. Not sure if it's from user feedback or poor demand. Probably a little of both. Also, noticed the library went up an additional 50 games or so. Some new games being offered I noticed new was Infamous for $1.99 and so was God of War Ascension. There's still no way of purchasing the full game at a price.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Sony has added more first party games, which are at the lower price points. They must think the rest are a good value or they wouldn't let them on the service like EA Access right?
I suspect they had to let publishers price them however they wanted or many would have just declined to participate.Comment
