When we do another generation change, I'll weigh my options and go with what system suits me best. You can't go wrong with either.
This. I don't care which way you go, but pick one. I have 2 Ones and love them. Don't have to worry about which system to buy a game on and whatnot. I quickly realized in the PS3/360 era that I really didn't care enough about exclusives, I really don't buy all the 3rd party huge games, so I can do just fine with one system.

IMO it's not worth it. Pick one and run with it. Both are great for different reasons, so depends on your preferences.

I picked one. Wife bought me the other.

That was my intention long term, but I was headed toward the one-console household route for the forseeable future for sure. They get about equal playing time now.

Been trying to sway them to pick up The One and they won't budge. 75% of the guys on my friends list I don't even know. I just added them for the heck of it to have friends. Childish I know.

So now I have 2 Destiny bundles and 1 Xbox One. Not sure what I'm gonna do. Why don't some of you mofos go pick up The One and balance this thing out some?

In the next week or so I'm gonna settle on 1 system and ride it out. It won't be before Thursday that's for sure with Live and EA Early Access.
I kind of regret getting rid of the one and going ps4 only. A lot of that 'regret' is probably how lack luster it's been overall for games on either system. So staring at menus and the controller = x1 win lol

For me it really is about having the time to spend playing. It's just not there and hasn't really been there for a while now. Not to mention the backlog of games that I know I will never finish. Most of my family/close friends jumped ship too PS4 this gen and I feel so lonely lol.

I'm gonna do what EG suggested and pick one and ignore the other. I've pretty much made up my mind already or at least which way I'm leaning I just need to get up the nerve and do it.

Yeah I keep thinking about the X1 but in the end I really have no need for it with already having a PS4 (and WiiU)
I'd only have it for a couple games. Just the fact it's tech and I usually always get everything.

Just need to not worry about it.

Yeah, do that and then ship me your Xbox One for FREE!!! LOL.

Joking aside, you got a PS4 for free so I would just keep both. I look at Xbox One and while there's only one game I want to play for it right now, by this time next year, it will be at least five and all five will be exclusives.

Even if you don't have the time, what does it hurt to have both consoles? Eventually, you will have time and when you do, chances are you'll want to play the console that you "don't" have so why get rid of either one?

When you see games release for both consoles like Destiny or BF4 all you have to do is go in their respective threads and you'll see just how skewed it is towards the PS4 side lol.

Simply more OS friends on PS4, main reason I went that route and jumped off 360 & went Sony next gen.

I'm a playstation guy and I've said my peace at my displeasure but I hope things get better soon. I'd really love a huge AAA title and some better functionality.

Same here, in my league all of us guys but two (out of twelve) went PS4. The 2 other guys are out of luck for joining our league.

I really don't get the "there's not enough to play" thing I hear all the time. Here's how I see it. Either you guys have a very narrow window of things that you like or you have a TON of free time to game.

I'm still working on titles I bought at launch and probably could seriously go 2 more years without a new game and be just fine.

So yeah, maybe it's just me but I don't get that "so unhappy there's nothing out" argument and I hear it from both camps all the time.

Yeah there's plenty to play for me but my issue is with my current work schedule (and ADD) I don't have time.
Just picked up Evil WIthin used today so I'll finish it then return it. Then on to next used until Dragon Age and LBP is here.

Between freebies and PS3/PS4/WiiU games I'm well stocked when I have the time.
No of course most my games are older but I am picky a bit on games so I don't really get every new game on release day any longer except ones I know I'll play for a long while (LBP and DA for example)

I agree, with so much going on in my adult life I don't have the free time to play like I used to in my teens. So games such as The Last of Us, Shadow of Mordor, Dont Starve, Watch dogs, need for speed rivals, fifa, madden, nhl, nba2k, outlast, on and on would take me forever to finish them all. I understand wanting more good games, I just dont understand the "nothing to play" debate.
