I've noticed when downloading large files, that putting the system into rest mode really speeds up the downloads. Downloaded Project Cars pretty quickly yesterday.

yep,one other trick to do (if you wanted) is pause the download and wait about 15-20 seconds then restart and the time should significantly drop as well.

Thanks guys for your input. First time buying a system in Philippines and it was a nice experience. They turn everything on and update it for you and make sure all the games and controllers work before you leave.

Got the Glacier White version... damn this thing is sexy. And it only turns out to be 380 dollars total and it included Little Big Planet. Picked up nba2k, bloodborne and mortal kombat for my three and a camo white controller.

Love this thing. Been having the worst time trying to charge my DS4 with a USB cord (it never stays set once I move the controller even slightly, almost like it doesn't fit).

I hate the way it looks, but it's functionally the best charger I've seen.

I have that charger and the only problem I have with it is I accidentally turn the PS4 on when I put the controller in the charging port by hitting the PS button.

About $16 at various places. I can't say I've ever timed how long a charge takes, but I would say it's pretty quick.

$15 from Amazon, where I got it. Probably could be had for cheaper but I didn't spend much time looking.

Can't answer the 2nd question because I've just left it to charge overnight (plus it says it shuts off once the controller is fully charged).

I like the look of the dual Energizer chargers we have at home. Really wish the battery on the DS4 was swappable because then they could put the nice contact spot on it and make them easier to get into the cradle like they did the Xbox One controllers. That's why I'd like the ones posted above better functionally, look like the controllers just drop in rather than having to line them up horizontally into a cradle.

No Ether One for me, causes motion sickness. Was playing it again tonight, started feeling nauseated, broke out in a cold sweat. Not sure what it is, this makes only like the second or third game that has ever done it. Might be the cursor, or the head bob (I turned that down though), or the fast movement.

Not sure I am missing much, haven't been too impressed. The concept is OK, puzzles are a little wonky, especially with the rather rudimentary graphics making it more difficult to tell what things are (for instance what I thought was a playing card was a stamp?). The game is really not very well made, and not just because it is rather rough around the edges visually. One time, in only maybe 3 hours, all the sound cut out and I had to reload to reset, once I was stuck in the hub room thing and had to reload. Another example of how slipshod the game is put together, you can pull things from inside locked cases, in the hub thing by the projector you can pull the reels from the sides of the locked cases (so you can grab the ones at the ends). Good concept, really poor execution.

I can partially answer it now, at least - less than 2 hours for a full charge. Maybe considerably less - that's only when I checked it after being drained completely.

It charges by AC power, not USB so that probably makes a big difference.

The only thing I don't like is that I can't use my controller grip with it - it gets caught on the housing and won't stay down on the jack. And I don't really want to put it back on the controller everytime I want to use it - the regular grip isn't that bad.

Got the gold headset today. Impressive piece of equipment. Played Project Cars in a Formula 1 race and it sounded fantastic.
