Xbox 1 now going to be backwards compatible. What's the odds Sony counters and makes the PS4 backwards compatible?"Hate my game, hate my swagger, my hunger. Hate that I'm a veteran, a champion. Hate that, hate it with all your heart...

It's definitely a big move for MS. I don't know anything about business/marketing but I would imagine Sony has to have some sort of counter ready?"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
From the One thread someone said it would hurt PSNow. I would love for them to do it and make it unlimited. Put disk in and play, would be huge for us NCAA guys that only keep last gen system for that alone.Texas A&M Aggies

That's the exact reason I need a PS3 still is 2k choops and ncaa football. I don't use PS now or any other money gimmick (assuming it cost money)."Hate my game, hate my swagger, my hunger. Hate that I'm a veteran, a champion. Hate that, hate it with all your heart...

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Yes charging us extra money for PS Now really sucks! How I wish all consoles are BC, I envy those people who still have a working PS3 BC.
I am waiting for E3 if Sony will reduce the price fo PS3, I'd like to purchase 1 or if they will release PS4 that could play PS1-PS3 games, I'd buy this new PS4.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I don't see why they don't just have both items. PS Now would be for people who don't own that particular PS3 game, and then you can add BC as well if you have the disc.
Of course, PS Now would have to be cheap enough to justify going that route as opposed to buying the PS3 disc itself.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
The cheap way of getting the PS4 Now is the 3 mos deal at $45. For a year, you will spending $180. But that sucks if you only like 2 games in their list. Someone said that they will release PS2 games in PS Now but they havent made any announcement in regards to this. IMO, I prefer to have a BC unit than PS NOW because you need to pay every quarter instead of paying the disc game one time.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
They've spent hundreds of millions on the acquisition of tech and development of what eventually became PS Now. Think it would be a bit before they give people a reason not to use it is all. I didn't think they'd do subscriptions for the same reason though, so there's that
Having missed the PS2 gen (thx Everquest) and some good late PS3 titles I'd love for them to work something out.Comment
