When it comes to the fan and noise my ps3 made kind of some noise and then the slim made none nothing. Now ps4 I find makes less noise then the first ps3 I had did but more then the ps3 slim.

Absolutely zero interest in a MGS game right now.

I had an original PS1 from '97+ and of all the countless classics I've played, MGS just wasn't one of them.

Horrible decision as it's after Halo 5, COD and Battlefront. Personally, Ubisoft should just delay it to early 2016 if the game isn't ready. Sure as hell don't want another Unity at launch.

I disagree. Here's what I posted in the Rainbow 6 thread:

To tell you the truth the original release date was in a horrible place. You had Halo 5 (10/27) a week after it was a originally supposed to come out, CoD (11/6) after that then Fallout (11/10) and Star Wars Battlefront (11/17) all consecutive weeks. That's not mentioning Rock Band (10/6), Guitar Hero (10/20) and Rise of the Tomb Raider (11/10) around the same time as well.


Them moving the date back to December actually helps them imo due to the lack of stuff releasing at that time.

I always wanted to get into the MGS series but the games always got too weird and stupid for me to enjoy.

Understandable but the original MGS on PS was and still is the best game in the series in my opinion. It's a classic and should be played at least once. Everything that's in the game is simply so well done and amazing considering the game is 17 years old. If there's only one game in the franchise that everyone should play, it's definitely the original MGS in my opinion.

Honestly, I eliminated the game from my list completely due it there not being a single player campaign. The single player aspect is just the user going through the multi-player maps alone. I thought that there was going to be an actual single player campaign with set pieces that you had to infiltrate and rescue the hostage.

As for it being delayed, either way it's in a bad spot because it's going to come out after the majority of consumers and gamers have already spent their holiday shopping money. Releasing a game after Black Friday or in my opinion, what has now become Black Thursday is a mistake regardless of the game. Very few games are able to sell after Black Thursday/Friday. Only one in recent memory was Far Cry 3 in 2012.

Personally, based on what I have read, the game needs more than six more weeks. With early 2016 looking empty, a perfect release date would be early February. It would still be in Ubisoft's fiscal year and if the extra three months doesn't help the game, nothing will.

I love Ubisoft as they have been my favorite developer, publisher, third party company and go to company but they've been declining and they need to make sure that they stop releasing broken games (Unity) or downgraded games (Watch Dogs) because once they piss off too many fans, it's extremely difficult to get them back.

With that said, im still looking forward to AC Syndicate, The Division (even though im still 50/50 on it) and above all else, Ghost Recon: Wildlands. Really hoping they don't screw up any of these games but at the same time, I wouldn't be surprised if they did.

My game of the year is already set and that's The Witcher 3. I simply don't see MGSV or Fallout 4 having the quality that The Witcher 3 had in regards to all the extra side stories, content and missions. Out of all the quests in The Witcher 3, there was only one that kind of bored me which was "The Play" objective. MGSV, Fallout 4, etc. is going to have to match The Witcher 3's story, characters and pure quality from top to bottom in order to replace The Wither 3 as my game of the year.

In general, I think that it will go to MGSV but at the same time, I love it when I see sites and/or magazines give game of the year to a game that reviewed and scored less than other games. That aggravates me and makes no sense. I can see a game being equal and just picking which is liked more or whatever but when I see a game get a 10 but lose to a game that gets a 9.2, im sorry but it's kind of funny because it simply doesn't make any sense.

Of course, I personally think that reviews and ratings are a joke because like what's going on with MGSV, you never know if you're truly getting a fair and impartial review. That's why the only review that should matter to anyone is their own.

I only ever finished MGS 3. I was late to MGS 4 due to being primarily on 360 last gen and couldnt get into it. The first two I was too young to really understand at the time I think. Not sure I even played the first.

This one looks more my speed so I have it preordered.

Well, if you finished MGS3, read (or watch) the story of Peace Walker and play Ground Zeroes' main mission.



Phantom Pain is the part of the story where we'll see how Big Boss became evil, and the events of Peace Walker are directly connected to it.



Ground Zeroes is a prologue of Phantom Pain, it happens 9 years before the game, and one year (if I'm not mistaken) after Peace Walker.

So I was at best buy today and was surprised to see that Ratchet and clank on ps4 had a demo there. It looked like it was the same demo from e3. I didn't think I would see a demo there with the game not coming out in till spring. Now I want that game right now lol.

How come my PS4 doesn't record correctly? I thought when you hit the record button it gets a few minutes before footage? Every Madden clip I thought I have, is at the end of the play, even though I know I hit the button right after play.

When I want to save something that just happened I just hit the share button then select save video.
That doesn't save the last few minutes for you?

Hitting share button once is going to do one of two things depending on your settings. Either open the menu or take a screenshot. To save the last minutes video you need to go into the menu and hit square to save video
