So glad now I bought another DS4 controller.

These things die much quicker the the DS3.

I changed the light setting to DIM and I'm getting more life out of mine now. Before on a long day of gaming I had to change controller, now I do not.

This is a question best suited for AUChase, but I'll throw it out there for anyone who may know:

One of my friends has moved to Japan for a year. He left his PS4 in the U.S., but he's thinking about buying one in Japan. All of his games are digital. Can he still access them and play them from his new Japanese PS4, or is it region locked?

Even in Japan, you can still login with your US Region account like normal and any games purchased and in the library can be downloaded.. no problem.

Japanese PS4's are just as easy to navigate sans the O and X button having opposite imput in the menu and in certain apps (Amazon Prime). Most of the time it's not noticeable as the game itself will override the PS4.

I watched a guy struggle for 3 minutes thinking his controller was messed up when he tried connecting and logging in to my PS4. After he almost gave up I told him about the O and X button.. lol.

The only problem I've had with my PS4 (I've had it for 16 months) is that movies are region locked. I ordered the entire series of The Shield and got shut down. I had to go buy a US Blu Ray/DVD player from base.

Hey I wasn't sure where to post this. Figured this works, kinda?

I am gonna get a game early for the first time ever. Will I get banned from twitch for streaming? Will my PSN get shut down or anything like that?

An alternative to twitch is ustream. I used it to stream MLB 16 a week before the game dropped since people's twitch accounts were getting banned/suspended. That is another option if you want to stream the game early. If it gets banned, then atleast you will have your twitch account still available.

Will all of the apps still work? He's mainly getting it so his kids can watch Netflix. But being able to game is a nice benefit.

Went into GameStop today and traded in the last of my PS4 physical copies. Guy asked me if I wanted to reserve anything, and with a big ****-eating grin on my face, I said, "Nope, I'm going all digital."

It was like that scene in a movie where the record scratches and everything stops. All 3 GameStop employees looked at me like they wanted to kill me. lol

I've been pretty much all digital now for just over a year. While I agree with you that I tend to want to go that route there are some pros and cons. For example, I used to give my old sports games to my nephew but now I have no disc to give to him. They really need to figure out a way to let us gift our digital games.

For example, I used to give my old sports games to my nephew but now I have no disc to give to him. They really need to figure out a way to let us gift our digital games.

I agree unlike the indie games i'm still struggling on whether to buy the hard copy or digital copy.

Ex:
NBA 2k16 (digital copy might be best since it's just less of a hassle to swap disc. Also that i never trade or lend most sport games)

Mad Max (hard copy since it would benefit sharing it with my brother in law once im done with it just like i lent him 3 games once he got his new ps4 and he let me borrow the new batman.)

Taken King (digital since it's just dlc addition for me)

Fallout 4 (hard copy might be best since best buy gamer club discount)

Star Wars (hard copy might be best since best buy gamer club discount)

Also another problem that doesn't help me is the best buy gamer club which makes hard copies purchases very affordable and sometimes cheaper then other places.

That's another good point as well. I'm not a member but I think it'd save me money. On digital I rarely see any good sales on a game until it's older.

Also, I don't see the same preorder stuff like you get in stores either. I preordered Madden digitally the other day and all I got was a pretty basic, generic theme.

I like getting money back for games I don't want to play anymore; I also like the discount on used games also. I played BF4 on the PS3 so when I got my PS4, I got it used for $40 or something.

Can only have 1 open.

Weird though since Spotify and Netflix seem to be the only apps that can stay running in the background with a game or just stay suspended while you play other games.

Horrible decision as it's after Halo 5, COD and Battlefront. Personally, Ubisoft should just delay it to early 2016 if the game isn't ready. Sure as hell don't want another Unity at launch.
