Love the new OS. But didn't realize Groups is a glorified party message. Thought I could just group friends together. Whoops. I feel bad for sticking people on it and you can't even delete it. Communities is fantastic.

I don't like that they removed the USB audio player, I know the media player can serve the same purpose, but it's more convoluted and takes a lot more steps to start running.

I created a general OS Community, but I selected Madden as the game, so I'll convert it to that.

Press options... You should be able to delete it. I'd definitely put in that feedback about what you envision groups to be.

Was hoping to get in on the beta to see how streaming to Youtube was and whether or not it is better or similar to streaming to youtube using the elgato.

Have any of you guys who are in the beta tried streaming to youtube yet and if so, what are your impressions?

I can try it out when it's done downloading, if there's anything else anyone wants to see from the 3.0 update and I get around to showing it I'll try to test it out.

I'll leave it up and running for a short time, there's roughly a thirty second delay between the two, you can pick what you want your maximum graphic strength to be when you stream (Max, High, Med, Low), name it, post it to twitter or facebook, enable or disable microphone chatter.

Thus far, on Max with somewhat shoddy internet it has been extremely stable on both ends, my end and the viewing end. Definitely a positive addition, just wish you could hide the side bar from the youtube side of things.

Edit: At the end of the Livestream, it processes it and saves it as a regular video for playback

I have 55mbps speed and the highest setting on Youtube streaming in the beta is 720p which sucks

It uploads to YT in 720p which looks average only

Thanks for the info. The thing I like about the el gato is that you can upload videos to youtube in 1080p 60 fps.

I think I'll still use ps4's streaming to youtube feature occasionally when I want to stream due to it being easy in terms of set up and start up. All it takes is a push of a button oN the DS4.

It is possible that there will be updates to this feature in the future where 1080p 60fps will be available to use.

Yeah, could be. Elgato has specific hardware requirements for streaming, especially at 1080p 60fps.

Twitch can only stream at 720p, unless you are a twitch partner, I believe.
