I know hype is only part of it, but mark your calendars between October 28th and November 1st for The Paris Games Week. Sounds like Quantic Dreams and other new IPs will be mentioned or make an appearance. Been hearing big news. Again, just rumors but I'm betting exciting announcements.........

Favorite time of the year. Mets win World Series, Nets Season tips off, Jets and Devils will be in 1st place and more games and toys to hear about playing

Hey OSers, I have a quick question. My ps4 has been having the disk eject issue. I still have a canopy protection plan I purchased with it through Amazon. Should I just try to tighten the screw or should I contact canopy and see if they will replace it? Any advice would help.

Yeah, im expecting a few new game announcements and an overall good show. Sony's press conference at TGS was excellent and the best conference in general in years simply because there was no bullcrap. Just one announcement after another and extremely well paced. With Sony's press conference at PGW being the only conference period, im expecting it to surpass their TGS press conference.

And there's still PSX in December. Best part is that Sony spreads out the announcements based on the region the conference is in. So hyped!!!

I've got the disc-based version of The Golf Club Collectors Edition. Played it today for the first time in a while and it sounded like my PS4 was about set for takeoff. First time that's happened with the PS4; usually it's very quiet.

Also, think I hurt the manager's feelings at GameStop when I cancelled my NBA 2K16 pre-order and picked up PSN credit instead so I could get the digital copy.

I'm still on the latest official release, happened twice tonight. I'm pissed it's coming back right when 2k is about to release.

Edit: if this **** keeps happening, I'll probably sell this ps4 for cheap and just buy a new one. Anyone know if there's any hardware changes in the latest ps4 models other than hard drive?

Nothing important changed. It's lighter and it consumes a little less energy, but other than that, i don't remember anything different in the new model.

Right. There's a more efficient power supply I think which translates into less heat and fan use.

It also won't have the disc issue anymore as the buttons are clicky now instead of touch.

I've got an external HD question. First I've heard that we can use them to Store digital games, is this true? Second if the first question is true , I was using my external HD on a laptop. I've got a new laptop with a larger HD so I don't need the External for it anymore. What do I need to do to it before I try and use it with my PS4?

Sorry, it's not true. You can only use external drives for backup
