Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Another PS4 software beta coming, sign up here.
We've been hard at work on the next PS4 system software update, and could use your help testing it ahead of the official launch. Starting today, you can sign up for a chance to be a beta tester and get an advance look at some of the improvements and new features coming to PS4.
Details on the changes weren't released, they said they would be posted some time in August.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I can see that.
This gen has been taking time with OS level implementation from both camps. Since they are basically building from the ground up moving forward in their new ecosystems. And look how slow Apple is with their features added in their ecosystem as an example. They (Sony/MS) are now designing for the long term, so they are not rushing out features like the past. The implementations have been more solid as a side effect.
It is about prioritizing I suppose. Sony does not feel as 'rushed' since the HDD is easily swappable. MS had to have it sooner, due to their HDD not being able to. Sony had background music streaming for a while now with the Spotify partnership that evolved since their amendable contract agreement back in 2010-11... and MS will finally be adding it next month from what was seen in the code base.
I am still holding out hope it is coming, since it is still on the list of requested a lot, and was in the Sony questionnaires they randomly sent out last year to people's emails.Last edited by EnigmaNemesis; 07-26-2016, 12:32 PM.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
At some point, I hope we get a way to customize the tile list (folders) and the library.
I've got a bunch of old demos/games in my library that I'll likely never play again. I understand why I can't delete them, but a way to archive them would be nice.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
As NFL training camps get underway, we're excited to announce that football fans will soon have access to NFL Network and NFL RedZone on PlayStation Vue. With both channels launching in time for the NFL regular season this fall, fans can enjoy watching their favorite gridiron matchups using PlayStation Vue's unique TV streaming features, including [...]
According to this...
PlayStation Vue users who subscribe to NFL Network and NFL RedZone will also have access to the channels through Watch NFL Network, available on NFL.com; the NFL app across connected TV devices; and via NFL Mobile on Windows, iOS, and Android devices — at no extra cost.
More details as they get closer was commented as well.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment
