What made u guys pre-order from Amazon instead of a local GameStop/bestbuy?

Not trying to be a d*ck. I'm about to order mine.

Amazon always been awesome free release day deliver for Free as a Prime member, and most of all --> No Tax.

Funny thing. I set it up through Amazon, last night. They have a new promotion starting today, where if you trade $10 worth of games or accessories, you get a bonus $10 pre-order credit towards PS4 or XB1 games. I was going to re-do my trade, but the trade-in value for Madden has now dropped $10.

Amazon has great customer service, however I wouldn't put a lot of stock into what she says. I would wait for that E-mail and also use the method of checking the PS4 page.

I guess I'll hold out hope. She also didn't know what placeholder date meant when I asked her.

Going PS4 only or not? I want to get excited about the PS4 and cancel my Xbox One pre-order but I can't force myself to do it.

Amazon tax is based on state, like California just started taxing Amazon this year.

Not trying to be a d*ck. I'm about to order mine.

I actually chose Amazon first because it was 11 at night and no one else was open haha. That's partly true, anyway, but I did get a backup order at Best Buy at the same time in case either of them falls through.

And some people do have to pay tax through Amazon; unfortunately PA residents do (6%). It wasn't always that way, when you go to order you'll know.

Gamestop I avoid altogether anymore except in rare instances. I've had too many bad experiences with them.

I just heard that Dead Rising 3 is not a Xbox only exclusive?!?!? That it is a timed exclusive and will be coming to PS4! If so I'm pumped about that news!!!!! The same news said Titanfall is also a timed exclusive and we could see both these on PS4
