Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Had the OG version of PS3 that was still kicking although didn't play too much lately since being married, only occasional games when I can get the TV for a few hours - Got a Vita, and play a little bit more on it.
Thinking about Xbox One going into the reveal since a lot of guys I know have the XBOX now; however, i've almost put that notion to rest and likely definitely going for PS4 after Xbox's reveal.
Voice and gesture activated remote controls don't really inspire me when all I want to do is play games when I get the chance. The split screen stuff doesn't really impress as I can watch movies and get score updates/etc on my phone, without taking up part of the screen we're watching a movie on. So with that said - my wife is likely going to get the TV more times than not and she's not going to worry about all the fluff of being connected nor is the gestures or voice going to impress her compared to the remote we already have. No points there so while she watches Real Housewives, playing a PS4 game on my Vita via remote play seems to make a lot more sense for me as a whole when shelling out the money for a gaming console.Last edited by zanner; 05-21-2013, 02:39 PM.Comment

That's my most anticipated/interesting feature that I got from both reveals. This is the one feature I can see myself using. Being able to access/play the ps4 via wifi would be amazing. Now, will it be as advertised ? Thats the question.
PS: No I do not own a vita either.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Will always be a Sony first guy.
Microsoft continues to be meh to me in just about every aspect. Computers, gaming etc.
The giant DVR they just unveiled did absolutely nothing for me (not that I ever intended to switch) nor did any of the "exclusive" announcements they made.Cubs | Bulls | Dolphins | 'Noles

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
While I liked the ONE presentation and its features, I am still leaning to buy the PS4 ... most of the XBOX features wont probably function on a 3rd world country such as mine ... also, given my past experience (3 RROD), I can but feel frightened of how this new console will handle such increased power and how it will handle all those multiple stuff ...
After the ONE presentation, I also had the feeling (more of a hope) that the PS4 would be priced bellow, given how it is marketed as a more specialized gaming console.
Here is to hope for even more detailed info, comparisions and better, for a reasonable price and a great array of launch games.Last edited by ffaacc03; 05-21-2013, 04:07 PM.Comment
