Let's be honest though. That was considered bad practice years ago. It's 2016. They need to move on from physics being tied to frame rate.

I get that it's more work especially when it comes to poor physics implementations and animation engines, but 30 fps just isn't acceptable for most games.

Fallout 4 runs at 60 fps on PC as does Dishonored. They can figure it out moving forward. If they don't want to invest the time for older titles, I can understand that, but going forward, there shouldn't be any excuses.

Oh I agree 100%, but when they have to split the baby between diverse platforms from Switch to Scorpio we're going to see more middle ground rather than pushing the envelope if the main goal is to sell to the bulk of the market - which will be the vanilla versions of the Xbox One and PS4 for the next few years (and could be the case until well after we see the followups to the Pro and Scorpio). Depending on the priority there, changes to core tools and engines may not come until they're absolutely necessary.

This DF video on Last of us upsets me because if DF did not say anything you would not notice a silly 5fps at certain times.

I mean I have been playing the game at times in 4K and others in 60fps in 1800 and it plays smooth.

Anyone have issues with the "What's New" section getting stuck? My feed hasn't had an update since 10/15/2016. I've tried refreshing the feed and rebuilding the database. Nothing has helped. Still stuck.

Really? I noticed the frame drops right away. Not a huge deal but it is noticeable.

I'm not sure if the patch is out yet or not. Previously they said they would have PS pro support at launch. I am not sure if that ended up being the case or not.

The game is definitely patched. I wasn't sure at first but I got up close to my TV and switched between 4k and 1080p and there was a night and day difference.
