You could probably say this about PSVR and the games for it in general. RE VII will be the first game that shows if it can sell people on PSVR.

Regardless of the sales for Rigs, a new Killzone by them would have easily made up for it as a lot of fans wanted them to continue the franchise instead of the main studio in which I agreed with.

Must say im very disappointed as I thought with Guerrilla Games working on Horizon: Zero Dawn franchise that GG Cambridge were pretty much a given to work on the next Killzone game.

      Crap.

Are they shutting down the servers as well? I still play KZ:M quite a bit. Probably the best Vita exclusive ever made (or damn near close to it).

That would be hilarious if it was a beta to test improvements in system stability.

One feature I'm hoping they add in the upcoming update is external hard drive support.

I'm guessing you mean to store memory for games and such?

Because I can already use an external HDD to play media files on.

Probably to play games off of like the Xbox 360 and One can. Likely some security reason they haven't decided rework.

Yeah, to install games on. I know the internal drive can be replaced, I'm not really comfortable doing that, no matter how easy it is supposed to be.

So I'm having an issue with the system reading discs. Sometimes it just doesn't do it. But when I turn it off and back on it reads them. Is this a sign that the system is gonna eventually stop reading them all together?

I can deal with having to power cycle if that's all it is for some reason, but my system is out of warranty so if this is a sign it might stop all together I may just buy the pro.

                      Anyone have any insight.

I've had that happen maybe three times altogether. Don't know what that would mean on your end, but maybe you knowing that your incident is not isolated would make you feel better?

If yours is common enough that you're posting about it though, maybe there is an issue.

It's happened a few times over the last week or so. I do want to get a pro, but probably not until we get our tax refund. I also wanted to trade it towards a pro, but obviously don't want to trade anyone a defective system.

I guess I'll just deal with it till then and if it stops altogether I'll just have to play my digital games till I get the pro.

It is super easy and pretty quick. Don't be scared! I did it and it was simpler than I thought. Don't worry about it.

That said an external hard drive option would be very nice. That and BC are nice MS features Sony hasn't provided.

Yeah I've done 4 upgrades on 4 different PS4s and it is very easy to do. Takes a bit of time is all but the actual process is quite easy.

yeah i upgraded one but i would still prefer external. With multiple consoles, it is much easier to intall on the external from one then just plug into the other or copy to the others internal drive ala xbox. Mostly helps when you bring a game to someone elses house. Wait for a full game download, or wait for a disk install and patch download (and assuming they have room on their system) vs just plugging in your external and inserting disk if need be.
