Since when has it really mattered to these big companies whether or not the consumer wins? It's definitely not anything new and certainly not an issue related to just gaming. It just seemed like some people were upset at the use of the word "losers" to refer to the companies that sold fewer units and IMO that's a strange thing to be concerned about. LOL...probably about as strange as me being concerned about it being strange...

What matters to companies is profits and that is how it should be. There is absolutely, positively, nothing wrong with that because that is what a good company does is focus on profit. This ensures that they can continue on to make more games.

Some people believe that sometimes companies get too greedy, and I get that. However, if that is the case then its up to us gamers to vote with our wallets, and the market will then correct itself. If a company receives backlash for something like loot boxes for example then that will go away or change. as we have seen recently in Star Wars BF and Forza.

The bottom line is that the market will always ensure that the consumer gets what they deserve, be it good or bad.

The incessant complaining about companies "just being in it for the profit" is a bit amusing to me because...duh, of course they are. Just the same as most of us just go to work every day for the paycheck.

Watched that North trailer and game isn't for me. The Quiet Man peaked my interest at Square Enix's E3 video showcase but watching the live stream they did a few weeks ago turned me off because the combat looks bad to me and the game is connected with some kind of live action TV show or something which is a huge negative for me right off the bat. Add in that the game itself is only about 4 to 6 hours, is part of SE's smaller studio development team that's connected to the "label" that's remaking Fear Effect. Add in the possibility that it may retail for $60 and I simply don't know what Square Enix is thinking with this game as I see it completely bombing.

North looks like a walking/running simulator going based on that trailer. Looks cool but horrible trailer because it doesn't give you a sense of what the game actually is.

I like story driven narrative given games as well but The Quiet Man sounds and looks like a disappointment to me based on what I have seen and read.

For The Quiet Man, that doesn't sound any better. LOL. To each their own though. As for the North game, just not for me and the trailer doesn't give you a sense of what the game is.

Wondering if you guys can help. Just installed a 2tb ssd in my Pro and downloaded the Ps4 system software update to reinstall the software onto a usb. I formatted it, made a folder "PS4" then a folder within that "UPDATE" then copied the .pup file into it. I turned on the ps4 to go into safe mode and when I try to start it it won't recognize the file on my usb. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

EDIT:
Ok i figured it out, super confusing on ps4's website. Up on the top is an update file which is about 400 mb. There's a small link to download in the instructions which is about 900 MB.

USB drives and PlayStation have not always been friendly with me. Sometimes I format them to FAT and sometimes to FAT32, some of them straight up just don't want to read them at all no matter what I do, some literally won't fit in the slot because the casing is just too large, etc.

Other times I get the folders wrong all of the time. I seem to remember one time I wasn't supposed to name a folder something and I was just supposed to let the folders appear in the root menu.

Good luck with what you try. If need be try and use another USB drive with the same results, otherwise you will see a lot of different PlayStation forum threads on it where people give you that exact workaround that you need when all else really does fail.

I just downloaded the wrong file. They show it as the only file on the page on the top. Once you download the file you also have to change the file name right after that and putting it in the right folders. I don't think the format mattered too much, it was formatted to eXFat

GameStop got more PS4 Pros and they sold out almost instantly.

I heard maybe more 500 million PS4s will be coming, I'm gonna try to get one. Otherwise I'll try for the Spiderman one.

PlayStation 4 is selling huge amounts of consoles while still having a $300 (Slim) and $400 (Pro) price tags which is insane when you think about it. PS4 will be five years old on November 15th and the base model (Slim) has only seen one permanent price cut to $300 in this amount of time.

Sony puts them on sale for E3 week and Black Weekend/Christmas but to basically be at the price both consoles are and still do insane numbers is well, insane. LOL.

And here's the most insane part - arguably the best games are still to come. Spider Man in three weeks is going to sell a ton throughout the rest of 2018. Their Fifa 19 bundles will sell a ton in Europe. 2019 will see Days Gone which will move some consoles as well as Ghost of Tsushima and Death Stranding. Then of course, the juggernaut known as The Last of Us Part 2 will do even more insane numbers which by then, the PS4 Slim and Pro could be $200 and $300 at retail.

PS4 is guaranteed to be the second best selling console of all time with an outside shot at surpassing PS2 which when you think about it, if the PS4 stays on the market a full decade, it definitely has the chance to surpass PS2 because not even five years in and the PS4 is already past the halfway point of PS2 total sales which included the base, slim and super slim models.

Right now though, im just waiting for Spider Man baby!!! My PS4 Pro is ready!!!

Yeah they have them to order you're right but around me they are all sold out in stores. I wish they had some of those white ones, even online only, I'd buy one instantly.
