Don't forget Red Dead Redemption 2 in October, too.

I haven't. Already pre-ordered the $80 special edition at Best Buy. For me, I have Spider Man, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, AC Odyssey, RDR 2, Darksiders III and Just Cause 4 for the rest of 2018. This doesn't include Battlefield 5, Yakuza Kiwami 2 and Fist of the North Star which will be GameFly rentals next year.

Sales wise, RDR 2 will do great numbers as well and help push PS4 consoles even more.

Almost bought a 500 million edition on ebay today but talked myself out of it... probably for the best.

It was buy it now for $950, I got the guy down to $900 but still that's really expensive.

I really despise people that pre-order limited edition stuff and then just turn around and sell it for way more.

I get it's to make money but it's just frustrating for collectors out there or people that really want it.

Yeah I thought the same thing, I was like why am I even considering this?

It's so sick looking though and to have the limited edition one would be awesome...I guess I'll settle for just getting the controller when it comes out.

I'll keep checking around but I don't any store gets any more in stock.

I guess shoutout to the dude that bought 6, he's about to make probably like 3 grand...scummy though.

Yeah, from what I've read it's supposed to drop on the 24th, so this Friday. I didn't know it wouldn't be in stores so I'll have to try and grab one online as well.

Worth it to check anyway, I also signed up to receive alerts on Amazon if and when it's back in stock.

PlayStation 4 is selling huge amounts of consoles while still having a $300 (Slim) and $400 (Pro) price tags which is insane when you think about it. PS4 will be five years old on November 15th and the base model (Slim) has only seen one permanent price cut to $300 in this amount of time.

Sony puts them on sale for E3 week and Black Weekend/Christmas but to basically be at the price both consoles are and still do insane numbers is well, insane. LOL.

And here's the most insane part - arguably the best games are still to come. Spider Man in three weeks is going to sell a ton throughout the rest of 2018. Their Fifa 19 bundles will sell a ton in Europe. 2019 will see Days Gone which will move some consoles as well as Ghost of Tsushima and Death Stranding. Then of course, the juggernaut known as The Last of Us Part 2 will do even more insane numbers which by then, the PS4 Slim and Pro could be $200 and $300 at retail.

PS4 is guaranteed to be the second best selling console of all time with an outside shot at surpassing PS2 which when you think about it, if the PS4 stays on the market a full decade, it definitely has the chance to surpass PS2 because not even five years in and the PS4 is already past the halfway point of PS2 total sales which included the base, slim and super slim models.

Right now though, im just waiting for Spider Man baby!!! My PS4 Pro is ready!!!

Yeah it really is crazy ps4 is going to be at like 95-100 million range by the end of the year and it has like not shown much if any of a sing of slowing down yet and yeah with the games still comming up the rest of this year and next year most likely is not going to slow down much if it at threw at least 2019. Really the question is will it end up being the number 1 sold system passing ps4 or 2nd ahead of ds but behind ps2 or will it be 3 behind ps2 and ds and like you said not even any full price cuts in a long time. Ps4 pro is going to be 2 years old later this year and no price cut yet and regular ps4 will be 5 years and yeah is 100 less than it was when it first came out but it has been 300 for a long time now that price cut was a while ago. That is the one bad thing about ps4 dominating sales so much. Really by now ps4 should be like 200-250 and pro like 350 or something but because its sales are still so strong no reason to really do that. If ps4 was not dominating sales so much most likely it would have a like 200-250 price and like a 300-350 price for the pro by now.
