I don't get how you can play a PS3 or PS4 game with the vita when they don't have the same shoulder buttons.

Missing plungers too, but yeah, probably my biggest concern with remote play wifi issues aside. Was hoping for a Vita refresh w/ feature parity with the DS4.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I'm sure devs can create an alternate, yet simpler controller configuration for the handheld. Hopefully, it wouldn't make gameplay difficult. Lots of details to flesh out though.Originally posted by J. ColeFool me one time that's shame on you. Fool me twice can't put the blame on you. Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Just played the PS3 FIFA 14 demo and just wow.
I was going to skip FIFA 14 but man. This is a must get for me.
I have to decide what game to hold off on. Might be Killzone since I'll already have a shooter in BF4.Comment

For people who like Fifa, are you soccer enthusiasts? I've always heard it was a great game, but I don't know a thing about soccer, nor have I been following it. With that being said, I don't want to miss out on a great game. I'll have to give this a try.Originally posted by J. ColeFool me one time that's shame on you. Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I have a favorite MLS team but rarely watch their games. There are are some foreign players that I like but again I rarely watch their matches. I do enjoy watching international soccer matches though. I consider myself a casual soccer fan. Very casual.
But FIFA is just a flat out fun game. As long as you know the basic rules of soccer and how transfers work (think NFL/NBA free agency but with a twist), FIFA is just a great experience. Sim heads will say PES is real soccer. But FIFA can be picked up by someone whose never watched the game before.
There's a reason why it's constantly one of the best selling games every year.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I'm still finding it hard to believe the Vita is going to run my PS4 remotely so easily. There has to be a catch. It just seems too awesome. Like do I have to leave my PS4 on all day? Can I turn it on/off remotely? Can I choose to start a digital copy remotely? Obviously a hard disk would have to be inside the console. Can I run apps like Netflix? How much does it cost to have a 3G/4G account per month if I don't have wifi. And will this actually work??! Playing my PS4 remotely on a Vita? It's so back to the future II.

Pretty much all my questions. Hopefully once the system launches somebody will do detailed impressions.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
You don't have to leave the console on, as long as it's in standby mode you can remote in and turn it on via the internet. I've done it with my PS3 and my Vita, but the latency issues were ridiculous and you couldn't play anything. The most you could do was fool around in the menus.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I am guessing we see an update to the Vita and PS4 to allow the remote play over the net. Probably a 2014 thing much like the Cloud streaming or maybe something to do with that as well. I would not expect it to work flawless, but if it does work, it would be the ultimate portable.Comment
