An interesting and current read on the design process for the DualShock 4 controller...was surprised to read they considered an Xbox-type layout for the sticks based on user test team feedback, but ultimately went with their current setup based on "the PlayStation look" and the stick placement being in their design DNA.

Yes. Actually it does. They are canceling because it way delayed and they have no systems avaliable to replace the bundles which means a limited supply.

This seems weird to me.

If they were already planning on supplying those consoles with Watch Dogs, why would ones cancellation affect the other?

Shouldn't toes consoles have been produced for the bundle? All they have to do is provide those consoles.

I'm just confused. Because one video seems to indicate packaging already began. But how could packaging and shipping begin if a game couldn't be placed into the bundle? It seems off.

Got a call from EB Games this morning telling me that my PS4 controller I pre-ordered was in. So going to pick it up today which is a surprise. Curious to see how the sticks feel as the PS3 ones are pretty loose. Games I am geting at launch are FIFA 14, Madden 25, Killzone SF, BF4 & COD Ghosts. Also have to get PS+ while I am at it.

This is a prime example of why bundles should not be offered until the game has gone gold.

People are going to be screwed over and frankly, it is not fair one bit.

Battlefield 4 bundles are available on Amazon right now, so if you missed out, hurry and grab one. I got one finally.

Edit: Killzone bundle is up too.

So because Target and Best Buy out-shot their orders on bundles means there's a limited supply?

I don't think so.

They allocated from Sony their total # of launch PS4s as bundles. Those bundles will never make it to their stores because of the Watch Dogs delay.

They can't just go to Sony and say, Hey, re-supply us with what we missed out on. It doesn't work that way.

That does not indicate a limited supply. Sony knew how many consoles they were going to ship for launch.

There's a reason Amazon is able to offer alternatives to those who ordered the WD bundles.

Just a heads up, you may be able to use the controller with some games on the PS3...

The video indicated those stores. They can't replace a bundle with a system. That doesn't mean there's a system shortage.
