Question for those that ordered from Amazon and are getting a Launch system. I noticed that the picture on my order shows that I'm getting 2 controllers and it's called a Playstation 4 Dualshock 4 Bundle but it only charged me $399.

Anyone else have this??? Just trying to figure out if I'm getting an extra controller for free. Didn't want to call Amazon and spook them and they change my order. Thanks in advance

I see two listings

Launch Day and DS4 Launch Day

When looking at my order I see a picture with one controller, but when I click the name it takes me to the two DS listing.

Are you sure you're looking at your order?

When I click my order, it takes me to the DS4 bundle and says it's unavailable. When I click on the Launch Edition, the yellow instant update bar appears telling me that I've already ordered it.

Yup same for me. I think the landing page from your order details to the amazon PS4 page is just a little off.

I think the DS4 Launch Bundle is a new bundle, I don't recall seeing it offered previously. My order still states it is the Launch Edition (standard one controller package). My guess is the DS4 Bundle is something they are going to start selling soon and the link placeholder just replaced the original Launch Bundle. I'm not entirely sure, though, why only some orders would change.

As for PS4 games, what does everyone recommend? I had pre-ordered Watch Dogs and planned on playing some DriveClub; great plan in hindsight. So now BF4 is my only purchase, but I feel like it is a waste to get the PS4 then have only one game to play at launch for however many months until new releases come out.

I'm not sold on Killzone just because it's another FPS game. COD: Ghosts probably isn't my thing (I haven't really liked COD since #4, the original Modern Warfare). I'm still concerned the first-gen sports games won't be good, essentially glorified ports of current-gen versions. So what's left?

FIFA 14 played like a slightly more than just a glorified port of the current FIFA 14. It just felt smoother and more fluid. They are saying that they are putting in a lot more animations and upping the decision making options for the AI.

NBA 2k14 looks like way more than an up-port of a current game.

Madden...who knows. This is the title I have the least faith in. I wish it was playable on the demo system I played. If you want a lazy EA port, this is likely to be it.

Knack was a lot of fun if you like platformers. I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Killzone looks amazing to me. I thought KZ2 & 3 were both good games and consider this to be a for sure purchase.

Battlefield is battlefield. It will be very nice looking, but Im pretty sure the things that have bothered me with the last 3 games online component will still bother me.

COD: Ghost? No way. I find these to be just shallow and twitchy. Small maps and uprezzed graphics. Lazy port incoming.

The DS4 launch bundle was offered but sold out. For some reason when you click your order for the regular launch edition bundle it redirects to the DS4 launch bundle thats all. Even if you search for the launch bundle in Amazon and click on it, it redirects to the DS4 bundle. The way to know which one you have is checking your order receipt and the yellow bar at the top of the page gives you the instant order update when your on the bundle you ordered.

Was the atmosphere upgraded in Fifa 14? The crowd looked stunning to me in some of the videos I have seen. Did you notice a big difference from current gen?

The Crowd was WAAAAYYYY better. I noticed very little repetition of people. Each member of the crowd also seemed to be fully rendered and not just a movable cardboard cutout. The photographers, police, medical personnel and players on the sides of the pitch looked great. Camera men were moving into better positions and taking pictures. The crowd in the goal end celebrated my goal and the looked like they had individual celebration animations. It didnt just look like a clump of sprites.

There were flags being waved in the stands at the beginning, the lighting was way better, the pitch itself looked like strands of grass(even to the point of perhaps looking a bit too long) and the lighting on the players seemed much better.

My wife is not a gamer and takes little interest in gaming, but shes seen me play FIFA for years and even she thought it looked way better. The only complaint she had was that Modric looked like a zombie still.

It fit nicely overall. It was still a bit small in my hand, but Im used to that. It seemed to have a decent amount of heft to it. The thumb sticks definitely seemed a bit heavier than the current DS3. I always felt the current sticks were a bit light and these seemed better.

The triggers were also a bit better in that regard. They definitely felt sturdier.

Really my overall feeling was that this was a better build and more solid product than the DS3. My keyword to describe it would definitely be "sturdier."

Just got an email from amazon giving me a $10 credit towards BF4, madden or fifa as a "sorry" on the Watchdogs ordeal. Pretty cool of them.
