Yeah man this is a HUGH problem. Look at how many 1 Star reviews it got on Amazon

And I bought mine from Amazon too, im afraid to sell it now. I may just return it for a refund, it's not like their going for a lot of money.

Oh boy, I was playing 2k14 and realized the announcers turned off suddenly. Heard my fan being louder than usual as well so I decided to turn my PS4 off and back on. When I clicked "Turn Off PS4" I got the 3 beep thing and nothing has happened since. The screen is still at the "Turn Off PS4" screen but I can't do anything.

Should I press the power button on the PS4? Hold it for 7 seconds or something?

I have done all of that. I even down loaded the update to a USB and re-installed it. I've reformatted thus PS4 3 times. I even did to process where you take out the HDD.

I honestly am not shocked if there are a few bad ones out there. Its almost impossible for it not to be really.

On the other hand I think some people probably screwed up their systems not knowing what the heck to do because this install stuff is confusing as heck for a first timer.

My PS4 froze last night and wouldn't even turn off. I ended up unplugging it, and when it restarted it griped at me for unplugging it. This is the crap early adopters get to go through. I'm not sure, but guessing since it froze once this will end up being an ongoing issue. I believe I will contact Gamestop first and ask for a replacement.

PS4 has Twitch? I thought that was exclusive of the XboxONE? Does the PS4 also have UStream?

PSN has been a lot better for me today.

I actually prefer the simplicity of the UI over the complexity of what XBox Live has become.

me too, Xbox UI looks way too cluttered IMO

So after my PS4 became unresponsive when trying to power it down, I decided to just unplug the system altogether. Everything seems to be working again normally. It's the only issue I've had since downloading and installing the 1.50 update and getting into PSN around 1 am on launch night

If you just sign into the account you have PS+ with on your PS4 then it carries over I believe. I have PS+ on my PS3 account and when I signed in on my PS4 to the same account it didn't ask me about PS+

Picked up a nice charging station (2 controllers) for $19.96 at Wal-Mart. Cheapest I've seen and to me looks the best.

That's the same one I got as that was all they had. I wanted the Energizer one because of the lights but I guess since the controllers have lights themselves, unlike the PS3 controllers, it's not needed..

Can't go by that, people like me who also bought a PS4 on Amazon and aren't having issues are too busy gaming to do a positive Amazon review.
