I want you all to know who it is that's shooting himself dead in Battlefield 4. Look at the face of your least favorite teammate. He's smiling. He's happy. And you are cursing your mouth away.

I've been sending name requests to everybody I'm friends with. Makes it easier to associate with me for some reason.

Turned my PS4 on this morning and was scared to death because there was no sound output. Didn't help that I heard about that stuff with Foxconn yesterday.

Unplugged the HDMI from the TV and the PS4 and plugged it back in, works fine

Getting frustrated and thinking there is a problem with my system. Both 2K and Battlefield have fully installed, or so my download screen says. Try to play both, and it says each is less than 30% installed. Anybody else had issues with this?

It's not only you.

BF4 and 2K14 took me overnight to install.

I'm hoping that these forever installation issues are just because of all the server traffic at launch.

But seeing how it's already on your PS4 and just installing itself (ie, shouldn't have anything to do with a server) that gives me a concern.

My other theory is that it slows down when you're trying to install multiple games at the same time.

NBA 2k14 is giving me NFL 2k5 feelings right now. I love the real NBA stats and scores.

Why would you even want to install multiple games at the same time?

Patience is a good thing in times like that.

When I installed NBA 2K14 I just let it install completely before I even started playing it.

I think many of these problems arrive when in combination with the servers being overloaded, people are doing too many things at once on their PS4.

Just my opinion (not criticizing you or others), but I think many of these problems (not all obviously) are user related.

Would I have had to order from amazon to be eligible for square trade warranty?

From what I understand if you bought the console on amazon then you have to buy Squaretrade from amazon (I did this it is a really simple and painless process). But if you bought the console from elsewhere you have to buy the warranty directly from squaretrades website.

Anyone having issues with the "What's new" Section of the UI loading to show friend updates/etc.?

It worked the first day but not it just stays blank for me. Yes I'm connected to the network because I can access other features fine. Any ideas? Guessing it could be server overload but want to make sure it's just me or if widespread.


And sorry I didn't look through past 200 posts. I know I'm a bad example.

It's like that for many of us, PSN is still a bit wacky. I'm online as well and can see friends & the store etc but I can't see the "What's new".

It is off and on from time to time, I'm sure it'll get squared away eventually.

Madden 25 has me feeling like I when I first played NFL 2K on Dreamcast. Loved that game!

So after playing other KZ and B4, I'm not sure if I can go back to KZ. Frostbite is at its finest. The explosions and maps are just crazy. Playing KZ is great and graphics are very nice, but B4 is on another level IMO.

May just finish the SP and trade it in.

I already traded it in. Lol! Picked up AC4.

Noooooo. Gotta say I'm digging it.

With 6 games it's been pretty tough juggling all of them. I still haven't taken the wrapper off AC4

At first I was disappointed that I 'only' bought 3 games. Now, I'm glad I didn't buy any more than that, I have played the crap out of all of them, with the most played surprisingly being Madden 25.

Happy with my purchases, might want to add Fifa in the near future.

I still can't get onto 2k servers, every time I start the game I have to put in password and email only to get the message that says "2k sports servers are unavailable at this time" I'm getting real tired of this.
