I see the PS Store but where would I go to look at avatars available to purchase?

Thinking about changing mine up and I don't really like the stock choices.

Same question here. I see some people have sports logos. I would love to get an OU logo as my avatar like I have on Xbox Live.

Think those were available on PS3 but they don't seem to have made it to the PS4 PSN Store yet.

If you have a PS3 I suggest checking there. If you update avatar on PS3 it will display on your PS4 profile.

Amazon here, and no issues. Squaretrade warranty purchased though, just to be safe. For $59 for 3 year accidental, you can't beat it.

Anyone having issues with the "What's new" Section of the UI loading to show friend updates/etc.?

It worked the first day but not it just stays blank for me. Yes I'm connected to the network because I can access other features fine. Any ideas? Guessing it could be server overload but want to make sure it's just me or if widespread.


And sorry I didn't look through past 200 posts. I know I'm a bad example.

Yeah mine hasn't been showing up for a while. I want it to come back because it was fun to scroll through and see videos and pictures people had posted.

There is.

If you go to your system file management setting, click upload to cloud, you'll get a list of every gave save.

Click options on the game and you'll see an option to turn on/off.

I don't remember how, I'm not firing up my system to find it, but if you go into the system's settings somewhere there's an option to turn off all automatic down/uploads.

Just in case someone wants to kill all the birds with one stone.

I did that one. On the $350-400, I'm hoping that just meant original "price" of the console, not with shipping/tax. I didn't know.

How many OSers got their PS4 from Amazon? If so, any problems with those PS4s?

Got mine from Amazon, over 20 hours of solid playtime no problems with the hardware, and no problems with the network since Friday night.

Had to take a break, run some errands, and do some cleaning before I lost another entire day playing this thing. lol.

How long do people think it'll be until PS3 game prices start dropping(for games that are released on both ps3 and ps4)?

Cause I remember when there were releases for PS2 and PS3, the PS2 copy cost like $40 or something(compared to the PS3 $60 price)

Did you guys do anything different when you got your PS4?

I'm just really nervous after reading about PS4's from Amazon, that I will have those problems as well since that's where my PS4 is coming from.

Try not to freak yourself out. I know reading those reviews can be daunting but just remember some of those people making the noise are not verified purchases from Amazon and want to go there and bitch and scare people. I got one from Amazon and one from GameStop and both are operating just fine.

I am sure there are legitimate failures out there but that is expected when something is mass produced whether it be appliances, cars, etc. Just open the box inspect, read, setup and enjoy!

Exactly what I did, made sure every little thing was right, every cord was connected, read directions about the update 100 times, before I even turned the system on.

Only actual issue I had on Launch Day was that my Battlefield save data corrupted, but I hadn't done anything serious online or offline before it happened.

I was very fortunate to have such a smooth launch, from pick up at UPS, to installation, to the game updates and installs going smooth, to the hardware not borking.

I have the worst luck in life though, I fully expect myself to get the blinking blue light of death at some point, had red ring on xbox...twice, on 2 separate systems.
