I agree, they need to release some kind of FW update for the light on the DS4 where you can turn it on/off. The light doesn't bother me much, but I think it is the main reason as to why the battery on the controller drains so damn fast. It's driving me nuts having to charge my controllers every other day.

Thankfully it doesn't take long to charge while playing, but its still a little ridiculous to have to charge the thing 2-3 times a week. I don't want to buy a charging station when all I use (for now) is one controller.

Just get it then take it back within the 7 day return date or whatever it is.
I'm waiting on amazon to ship today if they don't I'm going to Gamestop then ill cancel that. I wanted it from Amazon because it's 49.99 but screw the extra few bucks if they're going to make me continue to wait. They didnt even have it for the buy 2 get 1 free

I'd love 2K14 if it didn't have fatal flaws. I didn't buy any VC and my MyCareer is now dead. Stuck in a practice mode that I can't get past. There were also no substitutions in my games. I played 47 minutes off the bench, and only six guys total played.

That sucks for you man. I've played about 30 mins of the campaign of BF4 and I finally opened Madden Saturday only to play half a game before popping 2k14 back in. I absolutely love that game and cannot stop playing it.

I started what I thought was going to be a practice MyGm and I've been playing it so much that I'm becoming attached to it. I'm sure updated rosters and a decent draft class will be enough to entice me to start a new one though. If they patch in better play morale logic, this game could easily be my favorite sports game of all time.

I've only had two problems and both ended up working themselves out. The first was I kept getting load screen while entering MyGm that took forever, then when it finally did load I received an error message. I clicked to report the error and everything was fine after that.
My second one was when I rage quit after starting a game against Sacramento by giving up 12 straight points.
When I tried loading it up again I was getting the long load screen again. I closed the app, turned my PS4 off, then turned it back on, went in the game and everything was as smooth as butter.

Anybody having any problems with loading/saving rosters in NBA 2k? I downloaded Jeremy's last week. When I went back to play the 2k rosters are back. So I search and redownload his rosters again. When I do that it sets up the Nov. 14th 2K rosters for some reason. Anybody have this issue? I'd like to start MyGM, but would like updated rosters at least.

Flower is hard to explain, but it is amazing. I love it. I tried to explain it to my girlfriend and it sounded crazy to me so its hard to tell how it sounded to her. Still a great and beautiful looking game. Its a nice calming game to play after an intense NBA 2K game or BF4 session.

I don't know what the deal is with that. I definitely didn't create my roster on 11/14. Maybe try using someone else's roster? I'm hoping that 2k will have an official roster update with missing players added soon.


Oh and for those of you who are flipping I think I would wait until after Black Friday before trying to sell. I just sold my extra PS4 and my XB1 on Ebay today. The PS4 sold for $600 and the XB1 sold for $660. However, by the time Ebay and Paypal got their cut I only netted about $130. Which definitely wasn't worth the risk for me, but I guess any profit is a good profit.

Is it? I haven't tested extensively or anything (opened my PS4 to make sure it all worked fine, then boxed it back up as it's a Christmas gift), but I wouldn't think the light itself would draw any more power than the indicator lights on the DualShock 3 - might be the size of the light bar (compared to previous lights) making people think it's draining more power.

I will totally defer to anyone that's done actual testing on how much power it draws though.

I checked out a few stores today, but couldn't find a single PS4. I hit up a Best Buy, Walmart and a GameStop. Nothing until Black Friday or the Sunday after Black Friday.

Fortunately, I pre-ordered mine. I'm looking for a relative that cuts our grass.

Tried that today. No luck at Walmart, BestBuy and Gamestop. All said Black Friday.

Have you contacted 2K? There were guys who had the 2k online problems too. Could only play quick games. 2K fixed it on their end.

Technically modems don't exist anymore unless you are on dial up

Seriously though no it should not be corrupting anything. If anything is wrong with your router it is most likely only a port issue. Yet if download is being received properly then that is not the issue. I'd check your firewall settings on the router if I was you.

Lmao. As you can see, I'm a little behind in the technology field. Firewall? I guess I will have my wife look into that.

What should she be looking for?

Firewall is software, it would be in the settings of your router. It is also in the settings of your anti virus firewall program if you have it turned on, with some anti virus programs it is turned on by default.

And she would be looking at traffic control, to see what programs and ports are blocked for traffic.

Here's some boot up info:

PS4 and Xbox One game install, load, and boot times compared

The controller life can be defined as decent. I wouldn't say it was great, especially when compared to the DS3.
