I am willing to pay $400-450.

But, I will wait until there is a good amount of games and I hear about any problems. I am in no rush to buy a new console until there is a great game to hold me off for a while.

Looks like quite a few already. Killzone, InFamous, Battlefield, Call of Duty, Madden (I'm sure), NBA (possibly), Destiny, Diablo 3, and I may be missing a few. Looks like they should have quite a few games on launch. I think Sony realized with the Vita how support can really take a toll on sales. If the Vita had more support from devs they would sell a lot of units. The PS4 needs support at launch to sell, like you said.

I will wait for a sports game to come out before I consider buying. Sports games last longer for me. But, I am not sure if Madden is the one, even NBA 2k. I think the 2nd game would be better than the 1st one.

I want to make sure there is no problems with the console. So, I am willing to wait 6 months

1- Jack Tretton told Pachter they definitely will not charge $599 again.

2- Thinks the PS4 will launch at $399.

3- Strongly thinks Kinect 2.0 will be bundled with 720 and make it more expensive than PS4.

4- Thinks everything on PSN will be behind a paywall, except multiplayer.

5 -Feels certain The Last of Us will have a PS4 version.

6- Talked to Sony about Agent, Sony's words: "It's still under development".

7- Nintendo's not going anywhere. Can go 20-30 years losing money like they are now before being in trouble.

I have smaller cousins and younger brother .

I asked IPod touch 5g or ps vita. They said iPod touch !

I said IPod touch or ps4. They yelled ps4.

So yeah their is a market for Sony if they integrate with iPhones somehow

Anyone read / heard anything about whether or not the console will be region free (like PS3)? There are numerous Japanese games I love playing, and all works well on the PS3. Hoping it'll be more of the same with the PS4. I need my PYS fix.

Considering the Vita is region free, I'd say it's all but guaranteed. Obviously anything can happen, but I can't imagine them switching gears on that so fast.

So the opposite of Live for the most part? Interesting. Could work well seeing as there are people who don't care about DLC.

BlackRome has said funnier things as well, but this was just incredibly funny how he did back-to-back posts with this (and this was when the word "epic" was censored, which made it even more hilarious).

Did we ever find out whether PS+ and PS World or whatever it's called are on the same subscription thing? So if we didn't finish out our twelve month subscription, will it all carry over to PS4? Heck, will we have the same user name to carry over trophies and such? On our friends list, will we be able to see people playing games on PS4 from our PS3 and vice versa?

Unknown at this point, but seeing as the Vita is on Plus and moving forward I doubt they keep the Plus moniker for PS4, I bet Plus gets renamed. It's been said that the PS4 will have tiered service levels, so perhaps Plus is just one of those levels. Maybe Plus is why we've heard the service tier rumors, one level is all the benefits of Plus which they no longer sell, one level is all the new paid services for World not available in Plus and only available to current Plus subscribers, and the third tier is the normal Playstation World services.

Heck, will we have the same user name to carry over trophies and such? On our friends list, will we be able to see people playing games on PS4 from our PS3 and vice versa?

They didn't directly address this, but when they showed the interface the guy logged in was using his PSN ID full of trophies. Since they also carried the PSN ID's over to devices not the PS3 and are using it as a more universal account, you can guarantee you will keep your ID/Trophies.

As for if you can see what people are doing across platforms, judging by the way Vita and PS3 works, I say yes. With Vita, people on PS3 can't see Vita activity, but someone on a Vita can see PS3 activity. At least that's how it was last I payed attention, I do know for sure Vita can see PS3 activity.

Looks incredible. So excited about the share and broadcast features. Being able to watch league games in Madden, NCAA etc. has been something I have been asking for for years!

I'm gonna get very annoying soon with how often I'm gonna say the same thing.

The power of that feature is incredible. I know I will use it often for sports games.

Not hate but I'll believe when I see it. A lot of companies are ambitious and then fall flat when it comes to release and slowly build to what they first showed.
