My ONLY concern with amazon is the ups guy chucking it around like a throw pillow at each stop.


I've ordered a ton of games from them and hats, t shirts, ect. Never had a problem but this is a nice expensive package.

Anyone else bought a gaming system and had it ups delivered? Was anything damaged? This is my first time buying a system online.

I got my ps3 slim from amazon on black friday a few years back and it came without any problems. They put the ps3 slim box inside of a bigger shipping box and put some of those plastic air things in there with it. Arrived just fine without any problems for me. I also bought the ps3 elite headset from amazon and it arrived without any problems. I buy alot of electronics online and luckily have never had any issues with them being broken while being delivered.

Florida. GameStop and Walmart is right down the road.

Happened to me when I got the 360 this year. I found out some guy has my name with a space in between, "Mike Noob." He hasn't played on XBL since 2009 yet he is still a gold member.

Ahhh that sucks. Lol, but I made out ok, settled for: kilakizzle (one less "L" never hurt nobody). Sucks none the less.

Yes but I think it's more traffic for an individual package compared to mass units shipped at once.

Did Amazon charge you yet? My card hasn't been charged which leads me to wonder if it won't be charged until near the release date.

Nope. Guess it charges me when it ships.

The money will be there when it ships though, even if it is right after Christmas.

Debating on also pre-ordering an XboxOne. I REALLY like the Forza series, was a big fan of the autovista, hope they bring that back.

I just came back from Gamestop a few minutes ago. I threw the $100 deposit on it and will decide on the games I want as we get a bit closer to release. Right now I'm thinking I'll probably be getting Madden, Watchdogs, and Battlefield. It's been real, Xbox. I'll be keeping my 360, but I'm all in with the PS4 this time around.

That's what I thought. I keep seeing people say that they paid it off already. Unless you did it in store, I don't see how that could be the case because nobody online is getting charged yet.

I think I'm going to head to GameStop after work and see if the y have any preorders still available. I'm just worried that I won't get one on or shortly after release through Amazon.

I just don't see how if Gamestop knows how many units they have available per store Amazon doesn't know how many they have so they can stop preorders when they reach their limit ensuring you will get your console.

Gamestop I went to had 9 preorders left. That was around 3pm. Put my 100 down, may or may not have fist pumped as I walked out the door. Also put 5 bucks down on NBA 2K14.

They were sold out of Xbox One preorders though, which surprised me.

It says in delivery options that you get it the day of release, December 31st 2013, for free when you sign up for some Amazon trial.

Why? I know its not a launch title but I'm still getting it as soon as it releases in 2014!
