Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but, I am not really excited for anymore current gen releases, with possibly the exception of NHL 14'.
I'm probably not going to buy NCAA football now, and I'm not that excited for current gen Madden's release.
The wait for PS4 will be long and arduous. But we will make it. LOL.
What people are underestimating is that at launch there typically arent a ton of games to play. Lets say there are 8-10 games at launch. About half of those games will be subpar. The other games may interest you but you probably will only be playing 2-3 games regularly the first few months.
I remember last launch, I had the 360 day 1. I bought Madden, Live, Project Gotham Racing and Perfect Dark Zero. Madden sucked. Live sucked. I got bored with PDZ after a week. So for the first two months, I was playing PGR and NBA2k after I traded Live in for that game.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
2K14 is the only sports game that has wowed me so far from E3.
I'm not trying to waste time next gen. I want my purchases to count and have tons of replay value.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Fully-featured is cool and all but a sports game next gen is really going to have to knock me to the floor to warrant a purchase from me. I'm talking The Division level of knocking me to the floor.

That said, GTA V on 360 and BF4 (PC or Ps4 to be decided) are musts. Add the console + a few ps4 games and the wife may well kick me out.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Next gen I'm thinking I'll be spending much more time with the deeper games like Watchdogs, BF4, etc. at launch.
Only so many hours in a day.
And sports game have burned me in the past as they don't have as much replay value for me.
Like I said, 2K14 was the only sports title where my jaw dropped.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Plus they've had much more time and experience developing. The gap is not nearly as big as xbox-360/ ps2-ps3. I'm expecting pretty solid games at launch.

Have you ever wanted to coach or play basketball at the next level, but something prevented you from achieving that dream? Fret no more. Ask me about SimWorld Hoops to see how you can create your virtual self, and follow your path from the prep-level to the pros.

I haven't decided on launch titles yet, many of them ill probably owning on PC instead unless they're crippled by consolitis or there's some other benefit, ie my wife would probably like watching me play Watch Dogs, but not so much BF4.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
It's refreshing to see people who are devout PC Gamers also giving recognizition to the new consoles.
PC Gamer elitists have always got on my nerves big time.
It seems like with the price point being where it is, most will still pick up a PS4.Comment
