Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Yes. Amazon charges you when the item ships. What ive been doing is slowly paying off my order on Amazon by using Amazon gift cards. I do need to remember to update my payment method as my card I have on file with amazon expires in September. Will have to update my payment method when I get my new card.Moderator

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I'm going to take these next couple of months to catch up on Ps3 games I never played via PS+ Free games download (Got sucked in to many sports games, namely The Show and Fifa to play anything else).
I'm coming up with my scheduled on all these games I'll catch up on, and this will also allow my wife to accustom herself with what will happen once the PS4 drops. I mention my preorder and every detail each and every day so it's no surprise to her once I rip the box open and Geek out for a few weeks at release.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Just got the following email from Amazon.
Dear Amazon.com Customer,
Thank you for pre-ordering the PlayStation 4. Yesterday we made a change to the name of the product by adding "Launch" and "Standard" editions, which may have caused confusion for some of our customers.
We are writing to confirm that you ordered the "Launch Edition," which is Release-Day Delivery eligible. All other aspects of the two editions are identical.
You do not need to take any action or make any changes to your current order."You got it man. I don't watch hockey." SidVish"I thought LeBron James was just going to be another addition to help me score."

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Im assuming that your card will be charged for whatever balance is left over after you redeem your gift cards when the P4 ships. Once you apply the gift card to the order, you should see the balance owed instantly.PSN: ckarlic

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Yeah...what I do is send an amazon gift card to myself with whatever amount and then apply the code to the order in the order details page. Should be at the bottom of the page. So far I have the PS4 down to $379 after I added a $20 gift card to the order.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
That is one thing that was a plus using the in store purchase of the PS4 at gamestop. Its paid off in full and over the next couple months, I can pay off couple more games so when it does release I'm not getting slammed with $700 bucks to the checking account.
Gaming to pay off Watchdogs, Battlefield 4, and COD Ghost for sure before the release. (Madden 25 already paid for)Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
At the top of your PS4 order details page there should be a button to 'apply gift card balance' to your order. Once applied, your total due is automatically updated. When it ships, you will be charged for whatever balance is left over.XBL: Mean Greene

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Can anyone explain to me how Xbox one has already reordered and made available to preorder day one launch systems and ps4 is still unavailable? I got screwed by amazon by ordering 5 mins after sonys conference and somehow didn't manage to have my order upgraded to the launch edition.
Anyone have any idea when launch edition will be back up to preorder because Xbox has sold out like ps4 already on amazon and now there available to order again.
GET ON THE BALL AMAZON AND SONY!!!

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
If you save up every pay check its practically the same thing. I will go trade in games to grab the new systems iteration of games though. That's the only thing from GameStop that's useful to me. Hoping for some buyers to hop on my deals I have on craiglist.Comment
