That seems like a fair guess as much as a possible true launch date. It will be strange, however, having BF4 in my hands on October 29 yet not having the system to play it on for almost a month later.

Most of you guys will think I'm crazy but I'm strongly considering holding off on opening my PS4 until Christmas morning. The little kid in me likes having a new toy to open.

For the past few years I've done this with all the games I buy during the holiday deals. I wrap em up and put them under the tree.

Would also give me the option to sell it if they're going for ridiculous amounts online. I don't know, just something I'm considering.

Yeah, hearing that makes me really glad I ordered over Amazon for release day. Get to avoid that whole mess entirely, and the worst I have to worry about is a late shipment.

Just glad the Gamestop I ordered at is not in a mall. I'll be there release night or whatever it takes to pick it up. It's in a Lowes parking lot, I'll take that any day over a mall or other big box retailer, that time of yeah, heh.

Now to just make sure it's paid off by then so other expendable fundage can go towards other things.

I pre ordered the other day on amazon, its not a deal breaker of I get it on release, so is it safe to still keep my preorder from amazon?

Maybe bigger cities its worse, but picking up systems/games on launch has never really been an issue for me.

Sucks for me, we visit my wifes family every Thanksgiving in NC. I was hoping a week or two earlier.

For those planning on trading games in toward your new console, Best Buy has a 100% bonus trade in credit for games until Saturday. Even if you preordered on Amazon, Best Buy sells Amazon gift cards, so you can use the store credit they give you for the games on those to put toward your Amazon preorder.

So my LIVE expires in 2 days. Guess I should renew now since it carries over to the XBOX1.
That way both PS+ and LIVE wont be due at same time during the year.

If I decide to not get the 1 I'll still have online for the 360.

traded in my cracked iPhone and was only going to get $100 for it but after all my deals I had towards the trade, it was over 260$ in trade in. All towards ps4 battlefield, next gen madden and controller. First system i will be getting on launch since my dream cast

Idk if it's just me but BestBuy has some of the worst trade in values. Say what you want about GS but I usually come out like a bandit trading there. Match the power reward with a promo and you can do well.

Everything I've traded to Best Buy I feel I got decent value for, but I usually only trade when they have the 100% bonus, and if you are in their Gamer's Club you get a bump up in value, plus you earn Reward Zone points for trade ins.

Pre ordered mine today at Best Buy. Put $25 towards it. If it releases in November I won't be here anyway so my wife will have to pick it up for me.

Yea see I'm only basing off what I see online for their trade values, and I'm not a rewards member. But seeing as NHL 13 is worth $6 at BestBuy with their current promo, and $27 at GS; that's quite a difference.

Again Tiger 14' at BB is only worth $11. GS isn't showing what it's worth but I'm willing to bet mid $20's. And those prices are with the current +100% if I'm reading right.

I should check out the rewards zone though.

What is the difference between a "launch" PS4 and regular PS4? I saw members talking about it with regards to their amazon preorders. Is it something similar to what the XBOX ONE is doing?
