Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I know not everyone is into motion gaming, but it is a bit of PS4 news...
Every PlayStation 4 WILL come pre-loaded with a copy of The Playroom
This is how The PlayRoom uses the DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller's features:- Light Bar: This is tracked by the PlayStation Camera to create interactive on-screen effects, such as holographic panels that hover around you.
- Motion Sensor and improved dual motors: Once your robot helper, Asobi, has beamed some AR Bots into your DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller, you can rock it in your hands to feel them tumbling around inside. Or you can swing and sway your DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller in a game of holographic Air Hockey, where you can stretch, twist and bend the board to gain the upper hand.
- Touch Pad: Used for scrolling and interacting with the various augmented reality menus. You can also use this to flick objects out of the DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller for the loveable AR Bots to play with.
I posted the Engadget E3 demo video earlier in this thread, but here is the official trailer:

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
A really interesting video, I see almost unlimited potential to this ... the showed demo/preloaded game would seem to be very popular among little kids ... thankfully my younger brother (4) and sister (6) arent allowed to browse the internet or I would be in huge trouble once they notice this and I get the PS4.Comment
