The problem though is they are supposed to be launch titles. Meaning these games should be there by the time the console launches.

Launch titles don't always mean launch day. If anything releases within a month or 2 its in the "launch window".

Well BF4 is a launch day bundle. It cannot come out before the 29th.

Alright I've done some research but still cannot be swayed one way or the other.

Can someone convince me why I should get the ps4 over the Xbox one? Im interested in pretty much every genre of gaming, if that matters.

Do you like baseball games? Do you like a good selection of free games each month? Do you like great exclusives? Do you like an extra 100 dollars? If you said yes then the PS4 is for you!

Seriously though, MLB The Show is the standard for sports games. With next gen it can only get and look better. PS+ always gives you a great selection of free games to play a month. PS+ is cheap whether you pay 5 a month or 50 for the year. Playstation wins by far in the exclusives department. Naughty Dog dominates developing games. Playstation had about triple the exclusives over the Xbox the past 3 years. You also save a 100 dollars and if you don't care about Kinect then that's important. PS4 has better hardware. I have seen developers say they actually prefer the Playstation controller this time around.

Definitely a huge fan of baseball games, and have been on Xbox for the last 5 years, so I have been DYING to play the show. But at the same time, the Xbox is all I've ever known and I'm scared to make the leap over. The Xbox controller is also much preferred, though that could change next gen.

I have been with Xbox and Playstation throughout. I assure you that you will be missing nothing unless you are a Halo fan. If you are a huge baseball fan then it's a no brainier for you. The Show is the best sports game out there. There is no competition. Not sure if you play MLB 2k but going from that to The Show you can NEVER go back. They have adapters and stuff so you can probably use the Xbox controller on the PS4. Playstation has the exclusives. By sticking with Xbox you miss out of some of the best games of all time. Good news is PS4 will be launching PS3, PS2 and PS1 games on the PS market. Where as Xbox One will not. You can catch up on all the great exclusives you have missed while enjoying the new ones! Getting a PS4 is a win, win for you.

It's hard to argue with that. If it seems like such a no-brainer, and considering the 100 dollar price difference, why isn't everyone getting a ps4? I understand there are fanboys, but there still seem to be a lot of people sticking with the Xbox.

Sony sure makes me like them with their decisions and policies though, I'll say that much.

It all comes down to what you're comfortable with. If you prefer Xbox, go Xbox One, if you want something new, go PS4.

Idk about multiplatform games. On current gen games looked better on the 360. I wonder which console will be the main one that developers program for first on the next gen consoles. That will determine which one looks better.
