Just preordered Killzone so I'll have plenty of FPS action on day one with Battlefield as well. Now I just need to decide if I'm going Madden or 2K14 for my sports game. Leaning heavily towards 2K14 at the moment.

I caution some of you guys to not get too excited. Dont get your hopes up and start canceling your 2nd controller orders. More than likely your order will only ship with one controller. Its just your gonna have to use the email confirmation you got to "try" to get them to send you a second one after your order arrives.

Yeah I don't plan on mine coming with two controllers actually...I figure it'll come with one and I'll have to badger them to send me another one and I'll end up with 3, which is fine because I'd like to have 4 for the rare times we have a FIFA party here at my house.

If you call/email verification that you are getting 2 DS4's why are you doubting that you will get it? Some are being told it's coming and some aren't.

Expect it, receive it and enjoy it!! Sound like a Preacher right? Lol

It's a shame they don't come with one. Guess they figured since the PS4 does they can cut the cost.

Yeah that's it. Even says so on the back of the box... I guess, thinking about it, DS3's didn't come with cables either.

If I had to make an educated guess, Amazon will not ship all these extra controllers but will give out like $10 in credit.

If all you get is a $10 extra credit, you aren't complaining enough. Amazon is very good at making the customer happy. I could see at least a $30 promo which would mean a controller half price. Either way, WE WILL GET SOMETHING FREE!

Here's why. Because no matter what a rep tells you, the shipping department is going to send you the item that you ordered, not the item you were incorrectly redirected to. So if your order says ps4 launch edition and not dual shock 4 bundle, that's what they are going to send, one box with a ps4 in it (and the single controller.) I believe anyone is fooling themselves if they think otherwise. The rep isn't going to leave special note for shipping department to make sure they add a 2nd controller. They are simply clicking the item in your order and not realizing the link to the incorrect item. Sure you have text saying your item shows 2, but they also say "All the information available is displayed on each item's product detail page. The information on our website is all the information we have about a particular product." which to me sounds like they are covered from then having to send a 2nd controller after someone complains. The rep said 2 because of an incorrect link but you certainly didn't buy that item. If it were another $5 item maybe they'd do it to make people happy, but I highly doubt a ton of $60 controllers.

Just my opinion, you may get lucky but I certainly wouldn't expect it.

sorry but this mentality is what makes me so glad I no longer work in customer service. People always trying to scam for something free even when you know you're wrong.

Got 2 PS4's on pre order, there were none in my town, so i had my uncle that works at Fred Meyer do it for me, one for me, one for the father in law, not to mention my uncle gets 10 percent off!

so if you do work retail you should certainly understand. Complaining constantly to CS Reps making them hate their job even when you know you are wrong is awful. I am glad I don't feel the need to abuse the "make the customer happy" mantra. Because the general consumer base is greedy and nasty. Not only are you making the reps jobs worse, you are potentially taking money away from them in terms of bonuses and even cutting back hours or even jobs when Amazon is forced to give out money for so called "damage recovery" aka customers abusing a system.

Yes, the rep you talked to got confused about the layout of the page and misconfirmed something. But the only reason the situation even came up is because you noticed the confusion of the page and went fishing for something free.

End of my rant, I just think it's lame.

Nice. I went to the Fred Meyer on Hawthorne to see if I could reserve another one to sell on eBay but the guy working wasn't sure if they upped the preorder allotment or not.
