Ok, so after 1/2 a day with the PS4, I think the XboxOne is going to be the better system overall.





The PS4 is not going anywhere... I need me some baseball. But from an "entertainment centerpiece" perspective, the Box looks to be the one. The TV integration is tough to beat.

You think TV integration is going to make the one a step ahead...I dont think so.

I have been lucky today, system setup didn't go badly, Madden was better than expected and ran flawlessly, the PSN has impressed me, especially while playing Battlefield. Awesome day.

No, I think the fact that the XB1 can seemingly do everything I can do on the PS4 now AND TV integration takes it one step ahead, especially for me.

I finally got to download the Madden title update and the frame rate seems a little better afterward. But it's still definitely not locked in at 60 FPS like Battlefield and NBA 2K are.

Madden feels like it's probably closer to 40 FPS most of the time, plus it still stutters a lot.

Anybody have any problem with no video?

My buddy finally booted his up. He's got sound, but no video. I sent him that video of the HDMI port problem and he says the port looks fine.

On my second PS4, just short of 24 hours since launch and the only game I can okay is Battlefield (single player and online). As for Madden and NBA 2K14, I cannot get past the loading screens. It keeps saying the network is down. I'm done. I'll try again tomorrow.

Is there a table somewhere explaining what the different colors mean on the PS4? I looked in the FAQ but can't find it.

Blue = Startup
White = On
Orange/Beige = Standby

Noticed my PS4 do this even while using the Vita to browse it which is a relief, thought controller was being silly. I think it has to do with the maintenance notice being refreshed or something.

Dont wanna go back and read, so are you guys keeping the system on standby or power down completely when done playing

Treat your Ps4 like a PC.....Leave it on Standby.

If your an energy conservation nut and wants to cut wasted power, turn it off.

It's running, but it's not very smooth on my end. I don't know if that's in general or not.
