I think the PSN has a lot more room for improvement than XBL, personally. I think XBL might launch in a little better state than PSN as far as functionality and features but I think PSN can catch up

My question is it really better then Sony's? Even with going with square trade, it still has to go back to Sony for general failure for the first year. If it has to go to Sony the first year what is the difference if it went back to Sony the second and third year? Is square trade really fast when compared to Sony as far as turnaround?

We are only talking a difference of about $5. You would think I was buying a car with all this flip flopping logic, lol.

If you want to recoup your money, I'd say its a better warranty. Especially down the line when the ps4 loses value..Theres no backward compatability with these consoles, so you're not loosing much, you are only gaining. I believe they repair it if you describe and if they deem it repairable. Like I said before, I didn't have to wait long to get my money, I dropped my coffin with my laptop inside, the guy scanned it..Not even a min later, I got an email from ST saying they are sending me the orginal value I paid for the computer, 351 through paypal..

So I like it better. Turn around time, I'm not so sure about that, but with the reviews, you can't go wrong. Sony's support line is horribe. You'll be on the phone 15 mins before you get an agent on the line and another 15 when they tell you to please hold. Its an inconvenince to call them. Believe me, I had to multiple of times(never had a launch console that lasted lol....bad luck)

Sony covers the first year unless its Accidental warranty.) then st picks off the next two years. So really its a 3 two warranty. They can honor claims during the first year, but they advise you to go through the manufacturer first.

Has anyone had to unplug the AC cord because the PS4 froze? I've had no other problems but tonight NBA2k froze twice in NBA today when trying to load the highlights and I was unable to restart without unplugging. I held the power button for 7 seconds and got the two beeps but nothing happened.

Yeah that happend to me once when I was playing bf. Happend on Saturday, hasn't happend since, thankfully.

One thing I cannot get to work is the resume feature while on standby. Everyone keeps talking about how great it is to have their madden game just continue from where they left off. Is this a madden only feature? I've tried this while playing 2k (mycareer) and I always have to start from the load up screen.

Any advice?

This EXACT same thing happened to me not 25 minutes ago. Nothing bad happened to my unit. It restarted warned me about unplugging it, ran its safe mode checks and is working fine. Just finished up some FIFA, but for the time being I am done with NBA 2k. This is the 3rd time that game has locked up my PS4. I'll be damned if there is a 4th. I'm not even a huge basketball fan, so I will hold that one out of the rotation for a while.

My PS4 took another dive tonight.... Pretty sure the laser reader or whatever broke.... Never again will I buy a console from Amazon. Chatted them and they have no estimate of when a replacement will be available. Gave me $50 back but I guess Ill be contacting Sony as well.

Tried remote play today couldn't hold a decent connection in my house to get it working. I'll try it out again tomorrow but if it still sucks, I'll just give my newly purchased VITA to my niece for christmas.

Twitch? I had the same problem.

Log onto twitch.tv from your computer. On the upper right hand side, click your account and go to dashboard. There is a tab called "stream key", click "show key" and reset the key.

I feel the same way. Until I know 2k is no longer buggy, I'll stick with FIFA.

This happened to me today, I think I was in the Madden main menu and went to put it in standby mode and after I selected it I just got the please wait message and couldn't back out or do anything until I unplugged the system. Booted in safe mode to check the hard drive and was fine after that, but still not ideal.
