Yeah, if you play Resogun the lady voice comes through the speaker on the controller.
Yeah I have to admit I was a little startled too lol. I knew that was in the game, but I didn't expect it to be that loud! I ended up taking her volume down a little.
First off, welcome back Pared! I hope all is well with you.
Secondly, what exactly is the issue with NBA 2K? I've only played quick matches or NBA Today games offline, without issue. Are these mode or online specific?

I've been playing nba2k14 MYGM mode extensively and haven't seen any crashes.
On the other hand the VC system tied into the mode has made me stop playing.
I dont think any of the games out use second screen right now I could be wrong. Also if you all dont have sound shapes it a pretty fun platformer with good music.
Do any current PS4 games use the Vita's "second screen" feature?
I don't mean remote play, I mean the stuff that you can get on a smart phone or tablet.
I tried linking my Vita as the second screen for Battlefield 4, but it did nothing.
I think we will see the greatness of some of these features in a game like Watch Dogs!! Everybody is forgetting about it but I'm as hyped about it as I was for GTA5
The first time I heard the controller talk startled me. I wasn't expecting that. But yeah this console vastly exceeded my expectations. The download speed of games is insane. The streaming of games is buttery smooth as well.
Only things I wish Sony included was direct streaming or uploading to Youtube. Either that or remove the HDCP for my El Gato can work with it. Or they should allow the user to choose their own bit rate because the quality of the videos being shared to Facebook is pretty low. And I hate the fact they disabled archiving on Twitch for PS4 streams.
Other then that, I can play NBA 2K14 all day and night long. Battlefield 4 would be good if you know their servers worked. I only been able to get on there twice.
Elgato announced that capturing will be possible for the ps4 in early 2014.

There is a workaround to use HD-PVR's with the PS3 via HDMI. I've used it for my PS3. I'd love to do it with my PS4... if I had one.
Strange question: On PS4, do you have to specify what kind of cables you are using? For instance, on PS3 you had to select one among HDMI, Component, Composite, and S-Video for video; for audio, you had to select one among HDMI, Optical, and Composite. The only issue with this was that I couldn't split my PS3 with HDMI and Optical audio at the same time or HDMI and Component video at the same time.
It would take a lot to explain why I use it, but I was wondering if anybody knows about this for PS4.

The only thing keeping me from BF4 are the crashes I keep reading about.
There is an error called CE-3 something that is basically a BSOD for the game and is unavoidable once it hits. I and a few others a are getting this on 2k14 and I would hate to get this now BF4. 2K14 is almost useless until Sony or 2K fixes it. And both groups are pointing to each other.
Even with the crashes, we had a great time in 64-man Conquest last night. It crashed, we easily got back in games.

Can't rule out the Youtube thing never happening. Last gen lasted 8 years. Who knows what the PS4 will offer hell in 2 years.

I know AC4 does. Not sure if any other game does. If there is any is very few.
AC4 doesn't use the 2nd screen unless I was missing something. They have their own companion app. I like it, but its not really that useful when playing. It has the maps, database, stats, etc. You can set way points, haven't tried to do fast travel with it. The thing is you need to put the controller down and you'll need a tablet to get good use out of it. I'd rather just pause the game and do the stuff in-game.
