 Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion

 Short answer: No.

Long answer: No. The systems are built around different architecture and even the PS3 had the onboard Emotion chip to facilitate the playing of previous generation games. To run the PS4 as a "ps3" system, you'd basically have to create and emulator and run that - which is much more demanding than running a game natively on the PS3. Combined with a switch to x86 architecture over what they previously had (PowerPC), it really isn't a viable option. Not to mention that they kinda scraped the barrel in terms of power for what parts are out there, it just isn't going to happen.Last edited by ubernoob; 12-10-2013, 05:49 PM.badComment

 Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion

My replacement console just came in today. It was simply just plug the USB into each of my controllers an turn them on. No issues here pairing my controllers to another console.

That is the way it is supposed to work but for some it does not. Then you have to go the route of connecting and turning the ps4 off and on again. My replacement console just came in today. It would be nice if you could set sign on alerts for various people. I'd imagine if you had 1000 friends it would be annoying to get a notification for everyone but maybe you have a close group of players that you'd like a notification for.

I guess that means id like groups for friends.Comment
