Anyone elses grip/s on the controller showing bad wear already?

I don't play a lot at all and the left analog grip is already has a tear in it. I noticed while I was playing FIFA 14.

Same here, its not torn but I can feel its inevitable. And it didn't start happening til I got Fifa a couple days ago. NHL is usually the culprit for me, but Fifa is the same result. Constantly holding the analog in 1 direction or the other.

The R1/L1 buttons pop off easily and you can pop it right back in. I took it off and there was a white residue on my sticking R1.

Yes, on one of my controllers there's a tear in the left analog stick. The R1 button also sometimes sticks on the same controller. The D-pad on the other controller I have is messed up and extra loose, and the vibration on that one is also messed up (shakes too hard). I've only dropped these maybe once or twice each and haven't thrown them at all, so I'm a little disappointed.

Yes...one of my controllers has the L1 button sticking a bit.
It's too early to take it apart and check out what's going on.....but I will eventually.

This is common on these first generation DS4's.

As for the Analog sticks starting to wear, this seems rather common as well. Buy some thumbstick grip covers for a few bucks, they actually feel better than the sticks with nothing and will prevent wear.

Like 23 said, we talked about them a few pages back and some guys posted pics and links to where to purchase. I also posted a pic of my controller with them on.

I'm using L2/R2 in pinball.

Same here, but I think guys like the quicker response on the L1/R1 because there is no depth to pressing/depressing on the 1's as opposed to the 2's.

Funny I just noticed a little wear on left analog while playing FIFA. Just a small nick buy in no time I expect it to really start tearing .

As far as pinball, I may need to change to the l1r1 combo across the board. In the pinball sessions I definitely feel that I'm abusing the hell out of my controller a lot more from a harder grip to slamming the shoulder buttons.

I traded in NBA 2K for $40 at GameStop. Live looks bad to me and 2K is just full of issues.

$40? There only giving like $22, even if you get the extra 30% that only around $30. Where is this GS located?
