Totally forgot about NHL and it was my favorite sports title outside the show for the last few years.

        Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion

Not a fan of video game consoles going all digital. Quite honestly, the day that happens is when I quit gaming. Games being digital only would be such a rip off at $60. Considering that you cant sell digital games as there's no actual physical product, they shouldnt be any higher than $30 at launch period. What most people fail to realize is that while they think that going digital will make games cheaper, it wont. If anything, the consumer will get screwed even more. Think about it...if you want a certain game and its only digital, why would the publisher release it for less than $60? Competition makes everything better. Right now, the digital aspect has competition which is physical disc based games. Subtract that competition and there's absolutely no reason for publishers to ever lower the price of digital games because there would be no other way for you to acquire that game and play it. Even worse, what happens if you spend $60 and end up not liking the game or is too short or has too many bugs/glitches in it? You cant sell or trade it because there's no physical item to sell/trade. You're basically stuck with a $60 game on your hard drive that you dont even want to play for whatever reason.

Microsoft wanting to go all digital and it blowing up in their face showed that its not going to happen for a long time and nor should it. Too many negatives would happen from businesses like GameStop going out of business to thousands of people out of work to the rich getting richer while the poor gets poorer and the consumer gets screwed over and in the end, you cant do anything about it except regretting your purchase and not doing it again.

With that said, I have purchased four digital games for Xbox 360...GTA IV ($10), Red Dead Redemption ($7.50 yesterday), Sleeping Dogs ($35) and Splinter Cell Conviction ($20). I'm also waiting for RE 5 to go on sale for $10 or less. Conviction was worth the $20 for me because I had already purchased it at launch on disc and loved the game. Played it a LOT so when I eventually purchased it for $20 digitally, it was well worth it. Sleeping Dogs was also worth it because I had already beaten it but yet, still wanted to play it and considering I went nuts and bought $50 of DLC for it, that purchase was also worth it because I played through it all three times.

The difference though is that I didnt buy ANY of those games digitally first. I bought them all at retail on a disc and already knew what I was getting. Buying a game "blind" for $60 digitally is something that I would never ever do. Even XBLA/PSN games, I have never purchased any of them "blind". I have always played the demo/trial for them first to see if I like the game enough to purchase it because I didnt want to spend money on a game that I wasnt going to like and couldnt sell or trade in.

Even retail, $60 is too much money especially when games usually go on sale within a month especially if its not selling. Thankfully, as a Best Buy GCU member, I get 20% off all new games (factory sealed..not pre-owned) which will save me a lot of money in the long run. I wait until the game I want drops to $40. GCU makes it $32 plus tax. Once I finish the game, I trade it back in to Best Buy which makes the game cost no more than $20 for me. Granted, im not buying the games at launch but since I have a backlog anyway, it doesnt matter. I can be patient and wait. Besides, spending only $20 on each game allows me to eventually play and finish three games for the price of one.

Right now, im playing MGS: GZ which cost me $24 after my 20% discount. When I trade it in, it will end up costing me $12. Saving money, getting three games for the price of one and lessening my backlog is just one more reason why I will never ever support a fully digital console. If that ever happens, the video game industry will most likely crash yet again because for thousands of people, video games is not just a hobby or a form of entertainment, its a collection. Cant collect something that you cant physically hold in your hands. Microsoft tried this and they changed everything. Looking at their sales compared to PS4 shows that it pissed off a lot of people including Xbox 360 fans who decided to switch from one brand to the other.

Here's a video that details the Snowdrop engine which is what's being used to develop The Division. Game looks great and if it plays as great as it looks, its going to be a classic.

As for single player, rumors have it that its going to include some sort of single player campaign. I personally hope that Massive includes a single player feature and allows you to play as one of the main characters from your team while the CPU AI controls your partners and you can give them commands.

Must admit that watching that E3 video from last year, I would love to go through NYC (I live in Brooklyn, NY) and other cities one by one eliminating all the other groups and advancing through the game.

Dont know what their plan is but this game is loaded with potential. The "outbreak" that takes place is supposed to be happening everywhere in the U.S. (or the World, cant remember which off hand) so just imagine what can be done with future updates and whatnot for the game. Imagine a DLC map for each state that you can purchase? Granted, it would cost a lot of money but the game has so much potential and possible depth that it would be easily worth it.

With all of that said, if its online only, it will most likely be the first ever game that I play online.

I honestly don't think it will affect sales of those decals too much. Very few people are getting them to cover the light because it is annoying. The decals act as a way to personalize and add some style. I think quite a few people would rather have the light shining through a cool decal rather than just turning it off completely.

Once contacted, the response Worten was as follows:

"On the issue that got us, we would inform you that we have the information that Worten stores will sell the game in question."

We remind all readers that Rockstar Games has not confirmed versions for the new consoles (Xbox and PlayStation 4 One) and PC, but over these months, ie since the September release for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 various rumors that have arisen and directions in this regard.

Right now the PlayStation 4 Grand Theft Auto V version remains in reserve in Worten site .

Worten page does not mention a release date, but the store SuperGamer Czech, who also is taking reservations for the PlayStation 4 release, along with the Xbox and PC versions One notes that the release date is June 13 this year .

Yes. His decals are great and really add to the PS4's cool-factor, and they are especially handy if you rotate two controllers like I do and makes each controller unique. It is also easy to tell which is which in said controller rotation.

The part about Microsoft was due to a overreaction and people not reading up on the digital policy. They stated that they had a market set up that you could trade in and buy "used" at discounted prices.
