finally pulled the trigger on picking up a ps4. my gf was asking me why i needed a second console since i already had an xbone. i said but honey there's no baseball game on xbone. she rolled her eyes and didnt respond. so i took that as a go ahead. i found a decent bundle with knack and an extra controller. ill be picking up bf4 and the show when it comes out. i feel like a lil kid right now setting everything up.

You will be feeling like a little kid, as in that you're too young for a GF lol.

Like Scott said. At Gamestop if you buy the PS3 version, you can trade it in towards the PS4 version and they will give you $40 in store credit making the game $19.99.

No love for Mercenary Kings?

I like the art, the music, and the gameplay mechanics.

But farming for materials and replaying the same levels over and over again gets old. The bosses running away during the middle of a fight was also a poor design decision.

It feels like the developers couldn't settle on whether they wanted to make a Super Metroid style game or a Contra style game, so they ended up with something halfway in between.

I spent all of 10-15 minutes with it and have little desire to play it again for whatever reason.

Totally agree with this. I think that it had the potential to be a great game.

I pretty much hate all timed levels in any game. So that makes MK a no-go for me.

Mercenary Kings picks up after you start getting some upgrades...at least for me...and it's really fun to play multiplayer....if any of you guys want to hop online let me know...
